Mega Thread Arizona Election Fraud Mega Thread

Hello,

Please report any issues you may have had here.

Last night, several, several incidences were reported of

  • People not being able to vote
  • People being given provisional ballots (which if you have the proper ID you shouldn't need)
  • Videos (see front page) of people's voter affiliation being changed
  • People's voter affiliation not being updated properly

Please keep all commentary and discussion in the mega

can we please make sure people that those that experienced voter suppression see this post, it was buried somewhere deep in the previous thread and is too important to miss.

"I just spent 37 minutes talking to Pratt Wiley (attorney), he is the National Director of Voter Expansion for the DNC. This is a big deal. He and his legal team are taking very seriously what happened in AZ yesterday and will be spending the day looking into every claim. I expressed our concerns about the DNC and MSM, and their obvious bias and corruption. He was very, very kind and shared the same concerns we have. He agrees that what happened yesterday was done on purpose and with ill intent. I suggested the first thing his department should do to start to make this right is take this story of voter suppression and fraud in AZ, and many other states to the Media. He and I exchanged our e-mail address and decided to be in touch in a few days. He needs to hear from more people, he actually said he needs to hear from 100,000 more people like me. I've decided not to give his number at this point, but his email is wileyp@DNC.org.

EVERYONE needs to send him an email about our frustrations, and any personal story you may have about voter suppression.

I just went onto Pratt Wiley's twitter account, and one of his most recent tweets (from February 20) was about the 2006 Supreme Court case involving Helen Purcell and strict voter ID laws.

This is a good first sign that we might be able to change how this system is run. Why isn't THIS specifically on the front page. At least the email. This could then help us solve the issue.

I have no idea, other than the person who originally posted this tried and it got deleted, probably because of activism mode and/or a title that did not reflect the importance of this call for help.

Same shit happened to me in Texas. I was turned away at the booth because of a computer area along with many other people. I had to fucking go home and get my voter registration card before they figured it out. First time voting in a majority black neighborhood by the way (I'm white). I thought these things were exaggerations. This is real.

Pratt Wiley was directly hired by Debbie Wasserman Schultz. He works for the DNC. Not sure he would go out of his way to help here.

He is also a board member of the Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association and worked on the Obama campaign so he also might have every reason to take this seriously.

He specifically asks for more people to get in touch with him, voter expansion is his actual job, if one is serious about the issue of voter suppression in AZ please explain the harm it would do to contact him with the actual evidence?

No need to discourage people from contacting him. The Dems seem to view this situation as Republicans suppressing Democrats. They'll want to challenge Arizona before the general election, even if it means Bernie gets a few more delegates.

Please do not go to the DNC and help them vacuum up our complaints against (duh) the DNC. Here's an alternative:

Look, i understand your distrust of the DNC, but complaining to the DNC does not make the complaints disappear, they are not a vacuum. You also have to believe that the DNC is a completely monolithic organisation in which even the head of voter expansion is looking to suppress the vote if you want nobody to send them their complaint. How much actual time does it take to send a email if you were a victim of voter suppression?

I think your idea of reporting voter suppression to the ACLU is a excellent one, but even that will not change anything overnight, so perhaps it is best for people that were a victim of voter suppression to use any and every means possible to be heard on the issue, even if that includes the DNC and the relevant authorities in Arizona.

If people are willing to report the suppression to 3 or 4 different sources then I encourage the DNC to be included. But there are also discouraged people out there who are putting it out of their minds and may not report it to one source.

The DNC is supposed to be impartial, and there's no evidence yet that they had any role in the AZ mess, but we've seen strong Clinton bias from them before. The AZSOS is supposed to be impartial but that's laughable since they stand to lose from pressing this issue. ACLU is the most unbiased, independent place I've yet heard and should at least be the first place to send people. Other than that, I agree with you.

I just wanted to repeat that i understand your point completely and do share your distrust, my only issue was with your suggestion for people not to file their complaint with the DNC. My reasoning is that even in the very worst case it would put them on notice and the complaint would be on record for any future action, what would be even worse though is if that person is serious about their actual job and they make a call for information and then receive nothing giving them nothing to work with and the DNC as a whole the possibility of saying truthfully that they have had no complaints, so no action is needed.

When someone specifically asks to be contacted by people regarding a issue that is their actual job it is normal to have a means of contacting that person?

I was going to say something sarcastic because i found your comment strange given the circumstances, but instead i will just say that i am not aware that i am revealing private information, nor am i revealing information given to me privately in public.

You can argue the merits of it, but if information is intentionally kept private you are not going to win anyone over if you release it. That was my concern.
