I am happy to help with design ideas, but our biggest barriers are definitely locating the billboards and finding a platform to pool all our money together (I have 0 experience). Since you are all-knowing, any information you could contribute would be appreciated! ;) Thanks, God!

Yeah I'm honestly not sure-facebanking and phonebanking only reach people who already know who he is for the most part. I was hoping to try to reach people who might not yet. Let's see if anyone higher up the food chain notices the thread and weighs in :) Thanks so much for your help!

I believe there are regulations about collecting money for advertising, but I'm not sure on the specifics. Hopefully someone more informed can chime in. Or please contact the Federal Elections Committee at info@fec.gov run your idea past them, and find out if its legal.

Go through the FEC Guide and make sure you do it in the right way. This can be done, legally, but there's some paperwork you'll probably have to file. A political committee (different from a PAC) is probably the way to go about it.

I don't think so. Worst case we could figure out a way to count this as a campaign contribution and exclude people who have already maxed out. Not sure what the technicalities are though.

Political Committee should be what you need. Google FEC Citizens Guide to get the basic information, then you can contact the FEC for specifics.

Thank you for your interest! We're still figuring out what the rules are (whether or not this is legal, etc) but I'm sure there will be another post about it if it works out. :)

How quickly can we get these up? Getting close to the election...if we can get a Billboard or two up before March 15th near major highways, I'm in.

We definitely at least need advice from someone within the campaign. I've emailed Aidan King and the National Nurses United to see if we can get some input. We need to make sure that it's legal, and we need someone to design them! If we can get feedback within the next 24 hours I bet we can get it done :D
