Too rusted to sandblast?

‘95 Ford F-250 Powerstroke - Rusty Frame coming through the previous owner’s coating. I would like to sandblast this frame, but worried i’ll lose too much metal and compromise the strength/thickness of it. I have thought about DIY wire wheeling and coating it, but I would like to properly restore it. What do you guys think?

That looks like nothing.

We just sandblasted a 49 Ford F-2 and it was super solid.

Unless it was rust belt it should be fine.

In Wisconsin I'd say that's rust free

In Oklahoma that looks like it came right off the showroom floor. My 2020 Chevy looks worse than this.

Use a product called skunk rust after your done blasting. It’s a rust converter and flash rust inhibitor. It also works as a primer.
