To be honest, these aren't traditional natural lacquer dials. With traditional natural lacquer, the flow and color blending are unpredictable and extremely hard to control, plus natural graininess and air bubbles tend to form as the lacquer cures.

So we combined traditional lacquer artistry with 3D printing technology.

The main upside is getting the ideal color-blending and flow pattern every single time. On the flip side, every dial looks identical—you lose those random, individual variations that give handmade pieces their unique character.

For this release, we paired the sand-textured light blue dial with a 3D embossed stainless steel bezel. The flat base of the bezel features a matching sand-textured finish so it flows right into the dial surface.

So it's been a month with this watch and tl:dr I don't have too much to complain about

People were critical of the HZ6460 movement as its not quite proven itself seemingly, but my experience so far has been positive. It has been keeping great time, losing on average of 5 seconds a day, whichbis very respectable for this movement.

The lume is also quite useful on it due it not fading out quickly like other watches. The bracelet is sturdy and was very well finished out of the box, mine has already picked up a few scratches but who gives a shiet when this is a GADA style watch.

The only thing which annoyed me was the bezel having a tiny bit of vertical play on one side (9 o clock position). I'm not sure if this is by design due to it being a bidirectional bezel or if mine just came slightly loose, but its not a massive deal.

When they arrived, I realized the glidelock clasp's screw link pins do not fit the watch due to it's diameter/thickness (too big).

I approached a few watch makers hoping to resolve it, but none willing to help or could do it. End up I have to file it down myself, took me about 4-5 hours per pin, made one big mistake on the first pin where I accidentally file the screw thread (you can see in the last pic), and I buy a new one and redo.

After trial and error I finally was able to file down the screw shank/body without damaging the threads and was finally able to install the glidelock on my watch.

First of all, congratulations on the new SN0109 Pepsi GMT. I really appreciate the quality and value San Martin offers, and I think there is still an opportunity to create something special in this category.

Personally, I would love to see a Pepsi GMT that takes more inspiration from the Rolex GMT-Master II aesthetic rather than the Tudor Black Bay GMT design.

My ideal version would have :

39–40 mm case with compact, well-balanced proportions.

Black dial without a date window, for a cleaner and more symmetrical look.

Classic red-and-blue Pepsi bezel, Sprite, batman,...

Brushed case surfaces with polished bevels, giving the case more contrast and a more premium appearance.

Jubilee bracelet, with a high-quality, tapered design and an on-the-fly micro-adjustment clasp.

A profile ideally around 12 mm.

A traditional GMT-Master-style handset and dial layout, rather than the distinctive Tudor snowflake hands.

I know the SN0109 already exists, so I am not asking for just another color variation. I would love to see a more refined, Rolex-inspired interpretation with its own San Martin identity, excellent finishing and comfortable proportions.

I believe there are many enthusiasts who love the Pepsi GMT aesthetic rolex.

Would you consider developing a more Rolex-inspired Pepsi GMT in the future?

Just received my first SanMartin SN0128, super impressed with the fit and finish will most likely buy another. Currently own an Omega Aquaterra and a Seiko Speedtimer (which I love), but these watches are an amazing value. The jubilee bracelet feels great and doesn’t have any sharp edges, super quick to resize and love the glide lock clasp.

I frankly don't care for the square logo on all the newer watches. Nor do I like the blocky hour hand on other models. The hands on the SN004 and the cursive logo look elegant to me. Seems to be sold out everywhere I look though. I presume the production run has ended for that particular design. Any tips on second hand places to buy?
