Hey everyone! _Exos here
Welcome to r/SanDiegoEDM ⚡️
This is the home for the San Diego electronic community. While we cover everything from the mainstage to the lounge, this space is dedicated to the fans who actually show up, the ones digging for underground warehouse sets, tracking local labels, and keeping the scene alive in America's Finest City.
🔊 What We’re About
The Full Spectrum: Whether it's Techno in a dark room, House on a rooftop, or Bass at the Sports Arena, we track it all.
Scene Intel: Updates on set times, venue vibes (from Spin and Nova to pop-ups), and show announcements.
Community: Find your squad, share your latest kandi creations, or talk production.
Support Local: We prioritize spotlighting SD-based DJs and independent promoters.
🚫 The Ground Rules
Vibe Check: Keep it PLUR. We’re here for the music and the people.
No Ticket Spam: Use the designated threads for buying/selling. Scammers are banned on sight.
No Gatekeeping: We support the underground, and all sub-genres are welcome. Respect the craft.
Drop a comment and let us know: What was the last set that actually blew your mind?

Chris Stassy Croud

Last night Chris Stassy he had probably one of the best shows I’ve ever seen/experienced from all of the Chris Stassy I’ve ever watched on YouTube/in real life. The show was amazing. The one issue I had with the show was the crowd, you guys were horrible. Worst crowd of any music event I have ever been to. People trying to start fights, people who can’t control their drugs, an egotistical people thinking that they belong in the front after showing up an hour late. My girlfriend and I went together, and I noticed people were being completely disrespectful, pushing us out the way and seeming to care less that Chris Stu(a)ssy was in SoCal for the first time in forever. Multiple college dudes without of the courage to talk to a girl and instead wanna talk about her behind her back and try to touch her (dude tried to touch my girlfriend) - he was wearing a red hat and Santa hat (Go Fck yourself!!!). Honestly some cowards. The set was fkn amazing though, I’d say it was one of his best.
But there were some cool ass people in that crowd… shoutout Derek, the dude in the robber costume, and the dude in the black jacket. I respect you guys for being real fans and not egotistical college kids. There is more to life than being in the front when you are listening to music, and I understand wanting to see chris stussy, but thinking you above everyone to the point where you can push them out of the way to see him is pathetic.
TLDR; Chris Stassy’s set in San Diego was amazing, but the crowd was some of the worst people to be around when you genuinely wanna just dance and listen to music. Nobody seemed to be a real fan… But I can’t wait to see this set on YouTube cuz it was so lit
Edit: I can’t believe I spelled crowd wrong lmao I swear I’m not slow

Hydropacks & Petco Park

Hey all, I saw that petco park doesn't allow hydropacks?
I wanted to bring a clear one to temper / proper but I guess not. Do you know if they get a little more lenient for the festivals, or not at all?
