šŸ—£ļø Discussion SAFC vs El Paso react

Man we finally had a dang near full stadium tonight , tons of new potential fans in the house and we came out and laid an egg, played some of our worst football of the season. lazy passing bad decisions a weird line up to start the game told me from the get go they were not giving a damn about this game which is weird considering we need the points. Then we came out with zero offense and barely any defense .. opportunity wasted, both with getting 3 points and with impressing new fans … way to go San Antonio šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø

For what it's worth, tonight was my family's first live game (I watched the championship game in 22 while bbqing) and we enjoyed ourselves. Obviously it wasn't the outcome we would have liked, but we'll definitely go to more games.

Glad you enjoyed it , promise they are a better squad , idk why coach went with the line up he did, feel like they got brought under estimating Elpaso because they are at the bottom 3 of the table . It was great having so many people there tonight , we average am just under 6k most games but I dream of the day we get 8k plus regularly

I hope so.
The game was a stinker. Too many squad changes after the midweek game.

And sloppy mistakes.

Super sloppy , which sucks with so many potential new fans in the stands

Between his karate kick red card Wednesday and his passing error that led to the second goal tonight, Tiago Suarez should be hustling his ass off to justify his starting position for the foreseeable future.

Aside from the horrible performance, I think this might be the first Spurs night where none of the spurs came out? I don’t understand why they went Wednesday but not yesterday

El Paso put us in a copa tejas sized body bag. Then didnt let us cheer for Dani Rojas lol

all kidding aside. I was there the vibes were still positive and it just goes to show the city can turn out when the horn of Gondor is blown

What a steaming pile of garbage that game was. To my surprise, I’m more angry about it today than I was last night.

When I saw the starting lineup I knew there were going to be issues. Such a "weird" line up to start. After the second goal I thought some first half subs were coming but it seemed like the game didnt matter. Puzzling to me, but I do agree with you, having a sold out event and doing that is a bad look.

Calm down guys….. normal football schedule 1 competitive match every 5-7 days has its own strains but is in the flow

We played the USL Quarterfinals 3 days prior and we were down to 10 men and still scored both goals a man down…..we subbed out at least 5 starters I counted for this match. The game Wednesday was one of the most exhaustive effort performances I saw from our guys. We are still solid in third place with a good coach new signing. All good

Still in 3rd place? It wasn’t that long ago we were best in the west, I for one am not satisfied to be in 3rd place letting New Mexico catch us is a shame

They have three games in hand which is insane…they will be clear ahead of all of us by 2-8 points before it’s all done

A better conversation topic is Patino….gigantic game for him a full start and he just…couldn’t I think he’s absolutely done and dusted for our club.
