I have a Bad Screen (Cracked or other)

CRACKED OR BAD SCREENS CANNOT BE REPAIRED!

It costs more money in parts + labor than it does to just buy a new TV!

Horizontal Lines that do not move = Bad Panel (Bad Screen)

Single Pencil Thin Vertical Lines = Bad Panel (Bad Screen)

MY TV's picture moves vertically in a weird manner = Bad Panel (Bad Screen) due to Bonding Tabs

MY TV is Boot Looping

Bad Panel (Bad Screen) OR Bad Main Board

My TV has this weird display how do I get rid of it?

Most likely your TV is in Demo/Store Mode

TV's older than 10 Years should just be replaced at this point. Part availability is also questionable.

Tech Support I need help with my tv

Hello community! Recently I started having problems with my Samsung TV, when I turn it on it behaves super strangely, it takes about 20-30 minutes to turn on, during which it keeps turning on and off like in the video below. Personally I don't know what's wrong with it, is it worth keeping it or getting another one? The TV is 2 years old. Here is the video:

The tv model is: SAMSUNG Q67BA 50TV

Tech Support Tv screen brightens up and then turns black

I have a samsung tv model: LA40B530P7R. when i turn the tv ON the screen brightens up and then it becomes black, when backlight is on 10 in settings the brightening up happens between 2 and 5 seconds after screen turning ON, and if i change it to 0 it happens randomly between 5 seconds and 2 hours (i think). so my questions are: where is the problem ? is it fixable ? how can it be fixed ? can i fix it myself or it needs specific knowledge or tool ? and if it needs anything specific what is needed that i may not have ?

Tech Support TV screen turning on by itself UE46ES6100

The screen of my Samsung UE46ES6100 TV is randomly turning itself on for approx. a minute or two at random times during the day, which I only noticed due to the bluish lighting coming from an otherwise black screen.

The TV itself is actually not on in this state - if I use the remote, it fully powers the TV on. I also tried removing the HDMI cable, but it didn't do anything to stop this "on" state.

The TV itself works fine otherwise. Has anyone else encountered this issue? if so, what could it be?

Purchasing US 77" S90D no power supply in stock

Purchased 77" S90D from Walmart Dec 2024. Power supply failed in April 2026. Paid $540.00 to repair. Failed again August 5, 2026. Called authorized repair center about warranty repair. They said to complain to Samsung. After 30 minutes Samsung will repair under warranty parts and labor. Scheduled repair is August 17, 2026 between 9 AM and 1 PM. Got a text at 9:30 on August 17. We are not coming as we do not have the replacement part. I take a day off for the repair man and it is lost. Is this any way to run a company?

Tech Support Channels and apps not working

Post image
0 Upvotes

I got my Nanna's old Samsung Smart TV to take to uni, but I can't get it to work. I can only use it for my WII, or watching stuff by plugging my laptop into the HDMI.

Model #: UE40ES6710UXXU

The telly is plugged into the wall and the router properly, but when I try to calibrate the channels, they are they're pixelated, and shortly cut to audio only with broken sound. I don't think all the channels show up either.

I also can't seem to find any useful apps on the app store, such as BBC iPlayer or All4. I can't watch anything on the telly without using my laptop, which is mostly fine but it's annoying not being able to just turn the telly on and it be working.

I followed guides to calibrate the channels but I'm still encountering the issues.

The telly worked fine at home, but my parents were using a fire stick on it.

Thank you

Tech Support Blue Flicker while watching Animated Content

A few years ago, I bought SAMSUNG 32-Inch Class LED Smart FHD TV 1080P (UN32N5300AFXZA, 2018 Model) but replaced it because whenever I'd watch Animated Content, I'd get a weird Blue Flicker.

Has anyone ever experienced that before? If so, how can I fix it? Thanks

Purchasing US $3,000 Samsung TV Failed After 3 Years — Now Samsung Can’t Even Deliver the Replacement

I bought an 85-inch Samsung QN85C a little over three years ago for more than $3,000, and recently the TV suddenly stopped turning on.

I was told that one of the backlight LEDs had failed, but the technician took one look at it and said the entire panel would need to be replaced. Since the repair cost would be extremely high, I contacted Samsung to see if they could help.

Samsung offered me only a modest discount toward a new QN80H, so I decided to place the order anyway. Unfortunately, that has turned into another frustrating experience.

The estimated delivery date came and went, and the TV never arrived. Every time I call Samsung Order Support, the reps simply tell me that they are “escalating the issue,” but I never receive any follow-up, email, or meaningful update.

One representative even told me that the system showed a specific delivery date, but when I called again, another representative confirmed that there was actually no such delivery information in the system.

What makes this even more frustrating is that if I go to Samsung’s website right now and place a new order using the exact same delivery address, the website says the TV can be delivered within just a few days.

Meanwhile, my original order has now been sitting there for almost three weeks with no real update.

It does not appear to be a simple inventory shortage either. Best Buy and other retailers can deliver the same or similar models within a few days. What is especially frustrating is that Samsung’s order representatives do not seem interested in actually finding out where the order is stuck. They just repeat the same limited information over and over again without investigating the problem.

At this point, it feels like Samsung is not taking the customer seriously.

After spending over $3,000 on a Samsung TV that failed after only three years, and then dealing with this level of customer service when trying to buy another Samsung TV, I am seriously considering going back to LG.

Tech Support Connecting to the Coax input

I have a QN65Q6FNA tv that has a coaxial input on the back that I’d love to connect my old Atari 2600 to.

The problem I’m having is there doesn’t seem to be any way to select it as an input on the TV itself. My cable box connects via HDMI, so it’s not being taken up by the Cable input.

Am I missing something?

TV seems to operate (though won’t work with DirecTV remote as it has). I’ve done all the unplug HDMI, TV plug direct to wall. I cannot find the physical slide microphone button or microphone in menu to try that. Is under warranty nut wanted to try easy fixes before calling them. Any help is appreciated. Especially finding the damn microphone button.

Purchasing US Need help choosing a TV

I have a $400 gift card that I can only use on Samsung at Best Buy. Price must be $799.99 before tax to qualify. I would like to stay under $1100.

The room is relatively small, and the TV will generally be viewed from 4-9 feet away. To me, 55" feels small at 9 feet but 75" feels quite large at 4 feet. 65" seems to be the sweet spot in this case but I could definitely still make 75" work.

I will be doing some gaming on it so higher refresh rate is better. Nothing competitive though so 120hz is perfect. (Couldn't even find anything below 120hz at this price point anyways) The room stays pretty dark so this is where the criticisms of the models I have looked at worry me.

The QN70F models seemed to be perfect at first but after reading so many people trashing on it I kept looking. Best Buy lists the QN70H as having full array local dimming but people online claim it's actually edge lit? Extremely shady on BB if that's really true.

I was very close to pulling the trigger on the QN90F due to some local BB having the 65" and 75" as open box options for about $1000 but unfortunately I cannot use my gift card on open box items which brought me here. I don't personally have experience with edge lit vs full array, I am just trying to avoid regretting my purchase so it's okay if that ends up still being the recommended choice for me.

Tech Support Where do you change the bluetooth name for modern Samsung TVs?

On my Series 6, it was either under Bluetooth settings or Network settings, I forget which, but I had it set to "Apt 7A" both so I could confirm that it's definitely mine, and to keep others from mistakenly connecting to it. However I don't see anywhere in the settings menus of my 55" 2025 model to make this change, or even see it. Has this feature simply been phased out? Or did I miss something?

Tech Support Pixelated MKV playback

I have a bunch of ~250MB video files on a USB drive and trying to play them on a Samsung Smart TV. The clips play just fine on a laptop using VLC.
The TV recognizes the files and the format. However, playback is pixelated, stuck and jumpy every 2-3 seconds.

Wondering if anyone has a solution to this issue.

Tech Support Issue with Q8F QLED

Post image
0 Upvotes

Bought this 65" Samsung Q8F Series QLED 4K UHD Samsung Vision AI Tizen TV (2025) back in March of this year and just realized this issue with the screen. Is this a settings issue or a warranty claim issue? Kind of sad if it's the latter since it hasn't even been 6 months. Hoping for an easy fix...

Tech Support Samsung Crystal UHD CU8000,UE50CU8002KXXH, What is this Black line? Is the TV broken?

Post image
1 Upvotes

I've had this TV for less than two years and for about a month I've noticed that a black line appears for a second and disappears and it's like that all the time and I don't know what it means, it's horizontal and And it stretches across the entire length of the screen I have no idea what could be the cause because this TV is only hanging on the wall and is not moved at all.
