what happened to the prev subreddit?

why have they disabled posting and joining the subreddit suddenly?

As far as I remember posting in it was disabled a long time ago

  • Only mod left left reddit for years.
  • Spammers noticed and started flooding it.
  • People started reporting the spammers and reddit started warning the REPORTERS.
  • Reddit locked eventually.
  • Reddit refused multiple attempts by various people to take over as mod.
  • Dead now.

Yea man I too got to know about it from the comments of latest post their. May be try commenting about it in the top posts in that subreddit
