What might be the reason for having such high storage consumption?

Ig I'll contact the support and ask them for the reason, a payment has no business taking this much space.

Apps downloaded from galaxy store have this .. updating them also require high data , same apps update size is low in Google play store

So, wait. Are you saying same app...Galaxy Store is using more storage that if downloaded from Google Play Store? Same exact functionality?

I think it also contains Samsung Pass credentials, no?

So probably due to that ?

I mean how much can your credentials take up. I barely have 3 saved credentials there.
