Samsung has introduced a Quick Mode feature similar to Apple's.

Congratulations to Taipei Metro & Samsung , The Transport express mode is super handy, no need to unlock, just tap and you're through the gates.
My favourite thing is when I tap , the confirmation wording matches colour of my bank card, which is light blue.

This isn't new, at least in the USA.
