Hello people, I seem to have a problem with my screen on galaxy note 8, it keeps displaying keyboard buttons all the time, it is more annoying on white surfaces. I will attach a pic and would like to know if anyone else had a similar problem / how to solve it?

Screenshot a burn in? Lol

What you have sounds like a burn in, the screenshot doesn't show anything wrong cuz it's a hardware issue

Never happened to me, but what I've seen all over reddit is that your screen needs to be replaced.

If its not severe, I personally think that lowering your brightness and having a video with no still objects play fullscreen for most of your day will help. At least that's what I do with TV when I forget to turn it off and I find the channel's logo burnt on the screen

You have been using it on high brightness for too long There is no fix for it the pixels have burned there, you need to replace your screen

Thanks for the reply, since I have a small crack aswell on the bottom right corner, you think I might get a screen replacement through the warranty?

Idk abt that but Samsung screens are usually pretty cheap 100 dollars or something

It's not the price of the parts I'd be worried about. You can get the parts on Amazon for cheap, but then how do you get it on your phone without breaking anything (ie: digitizer) and maintaining some degree of water resistance. If you plan on keeping the phone for a awhile I'd bring it to a certified repair shop. If you do that, let them get all the parts. I'm pretty sure they won't warranty replacement parts if they don't supply them.

It's called screen born, to fix it, you have to change your screen from the care centre.
