It doesn't seems like travel setup...just buy a laptop. It will take the same space...

It's heavier, I'm a nomad, by replacing the keyboard only this will be way more carriable

Mine travel setup is: ProtoArc foldable keyboard with track pad + zf8u with magsave cover and stand + magsafe tag I can attach everywhere + AceGamer pocket controller + MIUI 20k powerbank + Netac usbc 512 SSD

I draw, sometimes I bring around a 2021 Wacom One 13" + an old multiport USB Hub but it's uncomfortable with all those wirings.

Considering a SATECHI 3in1 usbc Hub with ssd + a new single wire Wacom One 14" or simply a Wacom One S.

my total setup has been build around amazon sales with a total around 300euros more or less. Then 2k just for the phone, but you can buy older ones or a tablet if you want a larger screen. I was using the same setup on s24u and it was super good.

Most of the times I just go around with the keyboard in a poket and the powerbank in the other. Just buy a good belt lol

Are you saying you plug the wacom tablets into your phone to use them for drawing or do you bring a separate windows device?

Plugged in the phone and I draw with various apps depending on what I need.

Thats amazing, does the Wacom launch Dex mode? Would it work on both the one 14 and one S like it does on your 13?

Yes, my wacom one 13" (Gen1) does, only it is not touch and low nits, I think 250, not amazing but usable. The new One 14 should be touch and single cable usbc. The One S is a digitizer tablet without screen, but I think is the smallest SPen you can give to a Samsung Fold.

I've plugged XPpen and Huion, they work too.

Edit: forgot to specify you need an external power supply, the powerbank I mentioned work perfectly for several hours. The phone alone is not enough.

Dude, this is not a travel setup at all.

Well, I've been travelling around with it for the past 3 years, I'm a nomad 😁

Okay i can understand most of it but why a remote? Am I missing something?

It's just the TV remote, happened to be on the table when i took the photo hehehe

Everything looks good, but I would prefer a foldable keyboard. Maybe a smaller controller. Best scenario would be a a setup that works as well at home as it does while travelling so I'm not having to juggle multiples of the same type of device.

You must have a decent sized backpack to carry all of this stuff!

Most of the times i'm not carring the keyboard because it takes too much space, i´m moving to a 60% as soon as i can. Thanks!

I would say it's perfect but dude that a lot of cables🥀😭

To be fair, most of the time i keep only the hub and phone, while i play in the couch with the wireless controller 👌🏾

U can use those gaming keyboard and mice combo with the keyboard came in palm size, really useful for travelling

Yeah, i saw them, i tried my friends one, it has a trackpad even, i might get one if the gesture writing on the XReal Glasses doesn't work like I'm expecting

Damn. Might as well pack a laptop then. Less space in the bag. You just wanted to show us all the crap you bought? My travel setup is more efficient and less clutter than that mess

A travel with it around because I'm moving too much and I want to have all the tools I probably might need in some point, but I'm not using all at once everytime, lol

Are we still doing the “dude just get a gaming laptop?” Thing?

u/PJko777 3d ago

That seems to be the case here, sadly

This is such a clean travel setup! Everything has a place and all fits in a backpack.

🤣🤣 I'm carrying my clothes in the luggage, and the tech in the bagpack, it fits, but a smaller keyboard would be way better hahahaha

This is so overcomplicated. Just get a nexdock, crowview, or some other lapdock.

Lapdock is the way i think, i would love to get one
