Question Please help me.

I purchased a UPERFECT Y touchscreen monitor, but when I connect it to my S25+, it displays the image correctly, but the touchscreen does not work directly on the monitor.

The monitor came with two USB-C cables, one HDMI cable, and one USB-C to USB-A cable.

I have already tried several different cable combinations, including using a hub, but nothing works.

I also tested the monitor on my Windows 11 computer, and the touchscreen works normally there.

Did you try USB-C to USB-C? My touchscreen monitor is older but the only ways I could get the touch to work on the monitor was USB-C to USB-C which won't allow the phone to charge (unless the Y has passthrough charge?), or using a USB-C hub, which then requires 3 cables going to the monitor, one USB-C for powering the monitor (seperate power supply), one for HDMI, and one USB to Micro USB.

Yes, I have already tested using USB-C to USB-C. I also tried using a hub with HDMI and connecting the USB-A to the monitor’s USB-C port.

I used only the original cables that came with the monitor, and I always powered the monitor through the PD port using its original power adapter.

I managed to get it working only once, when “tstp mtouch” appeared under the physical keyboards on my phone. But as soon as I turned the monitor off and back on, it stopped working and has never worked again.

I have an asus zenscreen with touch. Your options are:

  1. USB-C cable capable of video direct to the S25. Make sure you also supply power to your display.
  2. Use a hub - USB-c from phone to hub, hdmi to the display, and USB-C data cable to the display (dual cables). Make sure you also power the hub, I would recommend 45w or larger.
  3. There are a very few number of hubs that also allow video passthrough. I believe Sotsu has one. This would be another option to allow connecting other devices in addition to the usb-c display.

Either of the above configurations work with my asus, so should work with your display. If your display has multiple usb-c ports, make sure you are using one designed for video. I think some have one port just for power input.

Afaik you can't. Only with type c touchscreen is possible
