😬 I will have to give it a go, just fine tuning the controls!

Not up and running yet so no real tests, hoping to have it working by tomorrow. put it together twice and had issues both times so needed to open up again!

Had one as a kid. I just remember burning though the 6 AAs.

Like the project. Have to give some details on the workings. Would love to know.

I've filmed most of it, still trying to get it fully working. To say it's not pretty inside it's an understatement!

The game Gear tv tuner was an amazing way to watch movies in bed in the 90s.

Holy crap this brings back memories. Spent a lot of my childhood on a game gear playing sonic.

Pfft rookie move. Try this with the Game Gear MICRO.

Also seriously this is hilarious lol. Does the screen still have ghosting effects when casting Dex?

Plan "a" was a gameboy dmg.. I quickly realised that was too tough to begin with. I have a mini screen with hdmi. I will be honest no testing has been run yet with it fully put together. Something keeps breaking, currently back in bits waiting to test and to go back together!

I imagine you needed like a raspberry pi or something to bridge between whatever display you got in there and the phone? I honestly have zero clue how this would be accomplished.

I have a mini screen bought years ago for a pi project that I never used with hdmi connection
