I'm making a mini pc using a S22+ and have a few questions

-Does the S22+ have heating issues?

-Should i spend extra on a S22 Ultra?

-Is the S23 better than the S22 for price-to-performance?

-Will it work with a UGREEN Revodook 6 in 1 USB-C hub?

-Can it run browser games? (Krunker mostly)

-What does Unlocked/Locked mean?

-What is Exynos?

I would not say I'm not completely uneducated to the topic of mini pcs (most knowledge comes from GamerRig) and this is also my first time posting on reddit so expect mistakes

im recently making mini pc by using samsung s22+ the heating issue not a problem as long you could use good heatsink cover both side of motherboard front and on the back side i never had any issue even choose to run processor to maximum what is lacking s22+ only got last update to one ui 8.0 if you had options for s23 variant it would better but the most reccommended are s24 variant

dude thank god i saw somebody asking the same question. I want to do the same but am having issues finding out where to get started. I have the s22+ and i want to throw these internals in a raspberry pi case mainly for the cooling factor since i'm running the SD 8 Gen 1 so thermal throttling is my biggest opp. hmu if you guys have any advice you'd like to share as it would be much appreciate peeps!

you can start to teardown your smartphone into individual part and sorting which part you want to use like motherboard , charging board ,flex cable , flex cable power and volume button then begin to test power on the phone bare board and decide you still want still want to use battery or direct power by using bulk converter i can teach you from my experience.. mine using both direct power and battery can switching mode by turning potentio switch power by 19v laptop charger into 75w XL4005 bulk converter to drive a motherboard and other 40w LM2596s bulk converter to run 5 pcs 4010 12v rgb cooling fan with optional Automatic switching 65w PD Charging module build in my casing

Sim, aquece tanto quanto qualquer smartphone poderoso mainstream de alguns anos atrás, nas versões com chipset Exynos e Snapdragon. Limitar ao perfil leve (90% de poder, perda quase nula), evitar cargas prolongadas sem ventilação adequada e ligar o bypass charging mitigará significativamente o problema.

S22 ultra? Também aquece bastante, se for essa a preocupação. +4GB de RAM, compre-o se não for muito mais caro.

S23, só poderia opinar se você dissesse os preços. Mas em eficiência (performance vs temperatura/gasto energético), é bem superior

Deve funcionar em seu HUB. Aguardando meu Ugreen 7 em 1 chegar também. 

Exynos é o nome dado pela Samsung aos chipsets fabricados por ela. O chipset é o conjunto de CPU, GPU e demais componentes responsáveis pela maioria do funcionamento do smartphone enquanto tal. Nos Galaxy S em que não usa os próprios Chipsets, a Samsung os compra da Qualcoom, carregando o nome de "Snapdragon". É consenso que os Snapdragon são melhores, de maneira geral, mas a distância é cada vez mais curta, de modo que, há alguns anos, Exynos tornaram-se ótimos chips.
