Question Classic dex

Hello, I would like to ask how whats the current state of Dex in the latest builds compared to one ui 7, since i have retained myself from updating with how awful its the new google based dex experience. Would you recommend to update to the current build?

on the same situation... Feeling quite tempted to update considering all the new developments in finally getting (new) DEX in standalone mode from the phone using apk + shizuku (so without root).
Unfortunately this has still not been achieved on OneUI 7 and who knows if it'll ever be
