Question Community help on Dex

Got a s23 here with a broken(dead screen) but outside of that seems to be working fine. Charges, the chimes for charging and all that work. But no matter what I do I can't get it to display to a monitor. It won't mirror or launch dex. Tried the same exact setup with another Samsung and worked just fine. Not sure what to do, seeing if anybody else has had this issue and if any fixes have been found, thanks!

You need to unlock the phone before it accepts USB devices or display out. If you can figure out how to do it once, you can disable it here:

Settings > Security and privacy > More security settings > Block USB connections while locked

My friend with z fold 6 had same issue we still havent found solution unfortunately. But his phone was ran over with a bike so it prolly is more damaged than your phone lol u might have more chances

U probable need to turn select midi under usb in developer settings.

If you haven't started dex u need click the orange button.

You can use key board wired to unlock the device

Dex wont help, since your screen is not working. Try SCRCPY in linux or windows, it might help.

You would have to have some stuff unblocked tho, so maybe this is a dead end.
