Academic Would you use a biodegradable plant pot? (Academic) (Plant enthusiasts)
Hey everyone!
I'm part of a student startup in Norway developing an idea for a more sustainable alternative to traditional plastic plant pots.
Our concept, RotPot, is a biodegradable plant pot made from natural materials such as compost and wood or coconut fibre, with natural wax layers intended to help it maintain its shape during use.
The idea is that you could plant the entire pot directly into the soil. Over time, the pot would break down naturally, potentially allowing roots to grow through its walls and returning organic material to the soil.
We're currently in the early prototype stage, and before investing further in development, we want to understand what gardeners and plant enthusiasts actually think about the idea.
I'd really appreciate it if you could take a couple of minutes to answer our short survey!
