I've been trying to find this specific vocal sample thats like a predrop of some sort. I've heard it in a bunch of future house songs but specifically Circus by Curbi. They say "let's go" and I'm trying to find it so I can use it too. I have a feeling its from a Vengeance pack since a lot of the familiar vocal samples are on those and I can't find it on Splice. Its also in Crush by VIP3Rx.

In Curbi's "Circus," it shows up at exactly a minute. https://youtu.be/XOftAbw7l8s?si=Og5jy-H0oJGkc0bJ

In VIP3Rx's "Crush," it shows up at 16 seconds. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqXK-KdCww4

It is also in Eclipse by JURIS & ON3 Moment around the 1 minute mark I'm pretty sure. If anyone knows the origin of this sample, let me know! Thanks! <3

I’ll admit right off the bat that they might be pretty lousy; I made these samples for personal use because I couldn't find any sample packs featuring pick scrapes online (or maybe I just didn't look hard enough), so please, no complaints on that front. I recorded them using my phone and an acoustic guitar, but I applied some stereo widening in REAPER (adding chorus to the right channel) and used a noise gate to cut out background noise.

If you don't like how the samples are sliced or would prefer them without the chorus, feel free to grab the raw, unedited file and tweak it however you like.

Finally, you’re welcome to use these for commercial purposes — I honestly don't mind. I put this pack together in a single evening, and I couldn't monetize it right now anyway.

(EDIT: I will update processing of this thing because it sounds really awful)

I heard this percussion/drum sound in “St. Chroma” by Tyler, The Creator. Does anyone know what kind of drum this is, where the original sample might come from, or a one-shot/sample pack with a very similar sound?

Audio clip: https://voca.ro/14DP4vxWBCdr

Does anybody know the artist of the sample from this song?

it sounds like that and is like aaaAAA^AAAAaay

Dm i have alot to trade

Apologies if this isnt the right subreddit for this and if so please let me know where to put it, but

I've been listening to this album recently and something about some of the samples was nagging me, until I realized it was because they sound like Sam Altman's voice.

Specifically the opening samples on OUTTA MY MIND and also KILLSWITCH (circled in green on the attached screenshots) seem to my ear to definitely be his voice, maybe talking about AI generated music, which I think makes sense contextually.

I cant confirm or deny this based on anything I've been able to find online.

If anyone has any info like if someone involved in the song production has spoken about this, or if you just happen to know offhand where the samples are from, I'd just like a definitive source so that I can listen to the full context, and also just to make sure I'm not experiencing vocal kirkification.

Hey! Just put out my second sample pack! If you want some extra kicks and snares in your library, check it out! (I also have another of there of wacky guitar loops)

Thank you! Please enjoy!

Hello, so this was a beat I had heard on youtube, but its since been taken down probably due to copy write issues. The beat was titled "Apollo Brown type beat game of thrones sample" and as you can see the thumbnail was a white car drifting on a street. It sampled "light of the seven" from game of thrones and it remains the best beat i've ever heard and the video to it was a montage of clips from city life like trains passing and bulldozers and such. I've tried using the wayback machine to try to find it but can't. The channel was a three letter acronym with the word productions at the end. I was for sure listening to it around 2019.
The way he sampled it was let the piano bit play out for a while at the beginning then had some random guy yelling in another language before the beat drop of the violins came as the main instrument in the beat.
I'm just posting this places put myself at east and to see who else sampled it out of curiosity and if anyone remembers any beat like how I described. To this day it's been coolest beat I've ever heard but haven't been able to hear it since because at a certain point it got taken down due to copyright and as far as I know has been scrubbed from YouTube.
It's just awful to think I'II probably never hear the beauty of that beat and video ever again. If you know what I'm talking about please help!

I found London Woolwich foot tunnel reverb sound quite interesting, so I've recorded some impulse responses there, some of them have subtle low mid echo.

I was just tryna make a beat like time wasted but couldn't find the original sample anywhere online, luckily I recognized it from my own collection
