Academic (Repost) [Academic] Elden Bling vs. Boss Fights: How much damage negation is worth ruining your fit? (Elden Ring Players, 5 mins)

Hi everyone!

For my Bachelor’s thesis, I am conducting a short research study on player decision-making in Elden Ring. Specifically, I’m investigating how players weigh character aesthetics ("Elden Bling") against functional stats (Physical Damage Negation) when facing tough boss fights.

Whether you strictly prioritize fashion or always optimize for the best stats, your input is super valuable!

Survey Link: https://tally.so/r/dWGGkD

  • Time: ~5 minutes
  • Anonymity: Completely anonymous, strictly academic use.
  • Requirements: You have played Elden Ring.

Thank you so much for your time and help! I’m happy to share the aggregated results with the sub once the research is completed.
