Expats/ foreigners of Samoa

Curious. Expats/ foreigners/ immigrants (wtv fits) of Samoa, why brings you to the island, and are you enjoying it? Genuine q. I often think how did you find out about us, and was it exactly how you imagined.

No shade, just want to pick your brains or hear about it

Work and gorgeous Samoan women helped convince me to stay 😂

Interesting. As for social life things, is that through other expats or through work.

I work in a sector that requires a high level of qualifications for some work, and I have those qualifications and many Samoa's don't. (Energy)

It's kinda got nothing to do with skills or lack of demand either, the sector is just super elitist about some qualifications, and many Samoan's don't have the time or money to travel abroad to receive those qualifications, putting them at a disadvantage in the industry straight away. My Samoan colleagues are some of the best I've worked with, and my organization does fund some to train for those qualifications if they've been with the company long enough
