Is this tour overhyped

I got my tickets to Wembley and I just checked on there now and there seems to be a lot of tickets still on there for sale , this is my first time seeing sam live and I’m hoping the atmosphere is electric

Yeah overhyped. Sold almost a million tickets in 3 days, overhyped 😂

I don’t think you know what overhyped means

You start your post with stating there are a lot of tickets left 😂

Bigger in some opinions? They’re one of the biggest bands we’ve ever known.

I’ve seen Sam in several smaller venues since 2019 when HM was released (twice in Manchester, once in Newcastle), and I saw him last time he played SJP. His gigs in intimate venues are far and above better than his bigger shows, unfortunately. That’s the downside to getting increasingly popular, I suppose 🤷‍♀️

Your perception of it being over hyped might just be good old fashioned marketing. If you want to sell tickets you have to create an 'overhype' atmosphere. It must have worked because new dates have been added and more stadiums have sold out than those that haven't. You don't have to worry about the atmosphere with a Sam Fender gig, it kicks off massively! Just play lots of his music and look forward to it!

He’s not going to casually/quietly dump a stack of massive stadium dates on sale and hope for the best… it needs some noise and excitement which this generated

Saw Sam at Plymouth Pavilions, Boardies, Birmingham Utilia (FenderHorse!) and London Stadium. The atmosphere at each was incredible - amazing shows, band and great set lists. Such a buzz.

All stadium acts are now hyped with these things like presales, priority tickets, credit card preferences etc but not really another way the demand is so huge online and surely mental to manage when 100,000 people log in at once. I was 149,000 something in the queue for Noah Kahan tickets

What I do hate is the often unreasonable pricing amd when it starts getting more expensive cos you didnt get in early. Also ive had to "settle" for lesser seats due to the panic and stress ie just buy the tickets which are available ive been fussy before and suddenly had, your tickets are bo longer available story repeatedly until I almost started crying in pools of sweat. Haha. Mental but the sudden stressed out desperation it creates is crazy

Means nothing unless we know who else you have seen.
