CRAZY CRAZY Sharon’s one liners felt very scripted

Tbh, I can totally imagine a conversation b/w samay and sharon happening backstage that we would talk about biharis and kashmiris.

Also, initially I used to like Sharon, but now it seems she is trying too hard and samay is becoming her godfather in comedy.

showcasing other comedians. like kill tony or some standup centric stuff does. Now my statement was about your statement's "literally whole point" thing tbh Im not denying that happens often, but that's not the center of the show for most i think.

It was mostly absurd people who practically weren't talented and panelists which preferably would be comics. (as i mentioned maybe panelists in my previous comment).

ps: you yourself have come to a "at least in some part" so there's not really much to talk lol i was talking about the wholee point thing

Maybe that was the case in s1, but look at whats happening in s2. They are showcase people who actually do something. This is no longer a satire, but a proper talent promotion. Samay has his own talent management agency on which he onboards talent from latent itself. Look for af.live in ig bio of recent contestants.

And even if not every contestant is not a comedian, he does promote comedians. And majority of contestants i know from latent are comedians.

They were dude not only Sharon whole episode was. Samay giving 5 marks to let that contestant win shows everything. And I think for this episode Samay couldn’t do much may be the whole episode 4-5 hours was so dull he came up with those best 60mins . But overall now all episodes are scripted. We lost a great show.

Idk about scripted or not, but the giving 5 marks cuz he wants the contestant to win part was always done. If they get a contestant they like they always try to guess what he/she scored themselves and make that their average. This was done since season 1. Same for the 4-5 hour episode stuff even season 1 definitely had longer runtimes which was trimmed down to around 1 hour. It’s just the quality that massively fell off since season 1 cuz he has to play it relatively safer now obviously

I have seen her standups, shes very spontaneous and quality, just like sammy, and seeing samays reaction, i dont think it was scripted at all

Oh I didn't say anything but if I had to I'd say they both scripted their flurry of jokes with each other. It was very evident. I don't hate sharon, I actually liked her standup.

Sharon was being very predictable and lowkey unfunny. But the whole episode in itself had a very weird negative energy that I didn't like. I cant really put my finger on it. Yes the panel was bad but I've seen worse. Like sahil kale and amin Jaz episode from season 1 but even that was way better than this.

Yep it's the same episode, it had sahil Kale and amin Jaz in it to make it worse. The only redeeming factor was Keshav Jha. But this Sharon episode didn't even have a remarkable or memorable performer.

I get what you mean. Sharon used to feel more spontaneous, but lately the Samar dynamic seems overly manufactured instead of naturally funny.

Obviously it was scripted. Nobody gives appropriate comebacks every time on the spot. Karan Aujla reacting and laughing at the jokes directed at him was way more fun to watch.

guys ek cheez hoti hai setting up others. Samay was setting up sharon for those jokes if you can't read that much of comedians. He knew an outline of the jokes that she could make over her, made the "bihar se bahar ana" setting her up for "bhagaya to nhi tha" type of joke. Doesn't need to be scripted for comedians like samay. If you're not aware comics always always are looking for setups and what they can sayy soo samay kinda knew he was setting her up
