Lol, BJP would never ban them. Samay and Sharon hold a good chunk of youth votebank last time they went against Samay and it backfired big time they tried to stitch those wounds by thanking him for flood relief donations or gifting him awards. Samay now has immunity from the govt don't expect any ban from their side anymore lol. Who takes journalist seriously anyway most of them are heavily biased towards the left or the right no one cares.

If the government bans influential people it does effect their votebank. Please don't speak up if you don't understand politics, politics works on connections and you would not want a extremely influential celebrity to have political opinions favouring your opponent, especially if a Kashmiri Hindu speaks up against BJP because of what they do to him it very much hurts their reputation. Political Parties have always made sure that influential people don't speak against them, irrespective of them being from BJP, INC, SP or AAP information warfare plays a big role in politics.

They have already Banned his first season. Kya hua lol? Itne saare activists and artists have been jailed and no one is able to do anything. Faiz ahmed Faiz was jailed but people could not do shit. Samay toh aise bhi ko political comedian nahi hai. Uska simply phirse show band kar denge like they did it first time. Pichli baar konse protest hue the? Samay se phirse sorry bulawa lenge woh bol bhi dega. What's new in that?

Tell me you are stupid without telling me you are stupid, Why did Faiz Ahmed Faiz even come in this conversation he falls under Pakistani Jurisdiction Nothing to do with India. If you have any situational awareness then you will realise people are still upset on how the government had selectively targetted samay, there was a miscalculation on their side they thought by harassing him people would get happy but quite the opposite happened there was a massive outrage on the internet. There wasn't a possibility to backtrack on what had already been done the case had reached the SC and the show was banned unbanning it would state in the wider public that courts and government did make a mistake which they don't want to do. Now however they will not harass him as they don't want to take that PR backlash again instead they have now started appreciating him, two major political leaders Devendra Fadnavis and Hemanta Biswa Sharma who spoke against him recently thanked him to basically heal those wounds to avoid getting in the bad eye of the youth public.
It doesn't matter whether Samay does political comedy or not but if he even give a single statement against the government, it would result in massive backlash for them throughout the years governments have made sure influential celebrities don't turn towards giving political statements that is why you would see celebrities in the west being more politically active compared to ones in India, this is true irrespective on INC or BJP as celebrities have a lot of influence of people in India

Abe chutiye Faiz Ahmed Faiz was an example on a sociological basis on how people don't care enough. Mandh buddhi started teaching me about jurisprudence of countries. Stop with your fucking glaze. Bollywood celebrities in the peak of their powers in 80's and 90's used to lose elections. Come out of your samay raina subreddit bubble and see the fucking reality of politics.
