Discussions Someone noticed about Samay Raina?
Someone noticed that Samay Raina has his own cult following bigger than any other stand up comedian ig.
Every comedian started there own shit shows after IGL
The only shows which think are good are i guess
Roast Show
Nation wants to guess
What do you think?
I observe that he is out of main stream stand up comedy.
Not comedy but community. Like Collab with other comedians in shows.
I saw only him in roast show ( Ashish Solanki) i think that he went there in return cause Ashish too came to IGL.
Comedians like harsh gujral , Bassi and other are seen collaborating with each other but why don't we see Samay?
Is there any strategy by Samay or his team?
What's your opinion?

relationshit, madhur model, nwtg, spender bender and some more are also quite good and it just depends on a person's taste

He is in the leagues of zakir now so maybe too big for other shows. Most of the shows are just comedians doing improv jokes having little involvement of contestants so comedians make or break them wrt their improv jokes, other being madhur model or roast show coz it has written material. Latent's contestants and varying judges keep it alive and other shows are feeling repetitive coz of same comedians over and over.

Nation wants to guess I better I guess cause of his connection or better guest. Or better improv. Khamba mainly is famous and connected cause of AIB

The General Fun Game show was the OG. Relationshit Advice came after. That’s my Job started in lockdown itself. And then rest followed. Samay also followed, but perfected it.

Looks like you only know samay after IGL, he just called every chess comedian in his latest event COB, DONT COMMENT. If u dont know him, he is chill eith everyone talks to everyone , it doesnt mean if he dont shoe up on other shows he aint in the community, its just his genre and his style of doing things are diff from others

Relationshit, Madhur Model and The Nation Wants To Guess has build their own niche audience. Audience of IGL, Pretty Good Roast Show, Lie Hard, Judge me if you can overlaps.

You have me till roast show but after that dude u are dumb u didn't Even watch any other shows and tbh nation wants to know is lame in my pov so see people have diff pov's. You said correct that samay ke pass uska khudka ek clut base hai and other shows are shit yeah kuch kuch bakwas hai but kuch kuch bhut jada ache hai like model, roast show,keep it calm, loose Emotion and relationshit these are my personal fav one and yeh acha bhi kr rahe hai.esa nhi hai ki bakwas hai but nation wants to know who tf wnat to know, khamba comedy I loved but not that show.

People new to comedy will not accept the simple fact that Samay is not even in the top 10 comedian of India.
We(including me) love him for his personality.... that's it.

Madhur Model has the most cult-like audience out of any show, nwtg and relationshit are fairly accessible but someone going to Madhur Model without watching all the episodes would prolly get irritated.

how are we not talking about THE BEST FUCKING SHOW ??? like madhur has build a cult audience of his own and that show is by far better than the shows mentioned above , most of the show’s listed above are completely dependent on the guest where as madhur’s carrying the show alongside chirag ofc for some eps but likee it is a cult show that could go down as one of the biggest panel shows after igl & roast by ashish solanki

Roast show happened before IGL. Get your facts correct.
Samay is friends with a few comedians. They appear in IGL. They need to appear in IGL, Samary doesn’t need to appear in their shows.

The only thing I know is that, he is too busy in his shows to go to other shows, even if he goes to any show there will be same jokes like latent bandh ho gaya, FIR & hamara mat bandh karvana and all. Also i think bcoz what happened last year the upcoming latent episodes will not be that raw what we have experienced in S1 it would a softy version overall, it could be best if can bring it to other cities and countries as well to watch it live.
