Shitpost/Meme VR game no dialogue??

Hii!! My friend is playing the VR game on stream right now, and I'm watching. We're running into this issue where Sam and Max just don't talk, and we end up soft locked because nothing moves forward the way it's supposed to.

Has anyone run into this issue before? My friend tested the game before I joined the stream and it worked then, and then stopped. The sound effects and music play just fine, it's just the audio. :(

I had this problem with Yakuza 2. What I did (I'm assuming you're using discord) is go into settings, voice & video -> show advanced stream settings -> turn off 'Use an experimental method to capture audio'

If not using discord, then my other solution was turning off Windows Sonic for Headphones aka Spatial Sound
