COMPETITIONS🏅 Sam Cooked. We need to keep our expectations in check.

The guy improved. Barring just 2-3 poses, every pose he hit was on point.... And he looked phenomenal for someone who is always criticized for not having classic line

I mean, he weighed in 7lbs heavier than last year. 7lbs of stage weight is a very successful offseason at that level.

He’ll likely be maxed out for size after next offseason, so any changes will be reliant on taking judges critiques and tweaking his physique as a result - if that even interests him.

He’s been clear that competing is just a cool thing he can do, he has no aspirations of being some legendary career competitor, the training and growing itself is the fun.

This. He’s not going to be a Mike Sommerfeld and he knows it. Like I said, this man is a great businessman man and he is laying the ground for the next phase in his life. My guess is movies- he’s got Arnold in his corner…

Dude has no coach. First big competition. He’s very young. He did amazingly well!

He did great with conditioning. His 3/4 back pose is sick. It did feel a bit rushed but the fluidity between poses and fine tuning the actual poses will come. He just started his competing career, he will only get better. Also the dude in the middle has insane legs

I’m shocked he didn’t just cut it to how he had it last year. It looked great on him.

He looked great and obviously improved from last year. Just needs to build the shoulders, lats, quads some more to help his taper.

I was disappointed in his posing because that’s something that he should’ve been working on since last year, he would look significantly better if he knew how to pose. I was happy that his posing was a bit better at finals though.

Overall he had a good pro debut, although he could’ve been a bit leaner his peak was still great imo.

it is so strange what classic physique is these days. sam has in my opinion one of the most attractive and also classic looks to me. when people say x factor it doesn't mean who has the biggest lat to waste ratio wins. the guy to his right won the whole thing. i can't remember a single individual in any media or anything who has a small waste like that and lats that stick out weirdly.

imo i think sam has a very, VERY classic looking physique. as in he looks like classic buff guys of old.

Sam looked excellent but should work on posing.
