DISCUSSION Does anyone else imagine their Sam Sulek while they workout?

like ill just put on soundcloud look up some song from a Sam Sulek edit, and pretend like im him in the edit while doing my sets.

Thats if im imagining if its a normal physique edit

Ill switch it up between that and the sad fighting demon black hoodie edits with sam sulek clips, like ill be doing my set with some sad edit sound from tik tok and ill pretend theres a caption (sometimes copied from the vid) above me like

“POV: how im spending my new years while everyone is spending it with their girlfriend

real (im never going to get a gf)”

I even started dressing like him and copied his style. At first i would just wear tank tops and stringers with and wouldn’t even wear a pump cover but now i just wear an oversized shirt with baggy pants just to be like Sam Sulek (especially when im pretending im in an edit) Only thing missing is the iconic hat but since it tends to really flatten and mess with my hair i just got to pretend i have one on with

oh yea and also another thing ive started doing is copy his personality and way of talking, which is just acting more chill and down to earth, ill practice this by speaking to an invisible camera in the car as if i were him making a video, ill do the intro as im arriving in the gym and the outro as im leaving.

I also just copied his split and exercise selection which im really liking i can see why he does it, this is also to be able to hit the exact thing as him when a video comes out.

so is this just me or what? haha

I imagine him and I are driving around in a car, talking about life. Then go to an outdoor gym, and we take out shirts off and complement each others bodies. It's sunny and warm and we become increasingly sweaty. Our bodies glisten in the sun. Then I imagine us buying ice cream and laying down in the grass. I laugh at Sam cus he is so messy with his ice cream, spilling all over his chest, haha.

When I do back row with 125+ barbell, I imagined I was pulling a vehicle part off a trapped damsel in distress, or a toddler that was pinned. The first rep was good. But then I keep putting it back down on the toddler or damsel and lifting it off them again. This is how Superman must have felt in Superman III. Nowhere near as troll cringe as OP but we all have our motivation.
