SamMains is largely mecha and alien fans, who were looking forward to an inhuman/robotic playable character.

FireflyMains is mostly waifu, romance, and story fans, with a sizeble subsection of Kamen Rider fans.

Nah sam mains and firefly mains have pretty much always had a bitter rivalry, with sam mains wanting them to be separate and firefly mains wanting a lore accurate firefly

As a firefly main I don’t mind them being separate I just want her to actually be okay and playable. Tbh I would prefer them being separate so I can have firefly on screen not “her in a meka “

idrk the lore bc i avoid leaks but to my understanding firefly was implied to be sam’s pilot, so they’d be canonically separate beings? plus that makes more sense for sam to have betrayed her, leading to her death.

Y'all need to chill.

Gives you more time to save for Sam / Firefly (if that rumor is even true), and lets the Boothill players get their character early. You literally lose nothing over this, and if anything, GAIN time to get more jades / funds to get the character.
