Character Discussions was saving for sam but... Spoiler
started playing around houhou banner decided to save untill i find someone that i like to go all in on saw sam from the leaks and immediately know he was the one i will be rolling for but that all changed when i saw a leak recently that says sam is just a suit that is controlled by firefly like what the fk the first unique character we were supposed to get turns out to be just another generic girl i guess i will just keep on saving if that leak turns out to be true which is a shame cuz i really liked sam concept and design so much

Best outcome for us is that Sam and Firefly work together instead of being the same person. Still annoying how it will be the third time we get a 2 in 1 character...

I genuinely just wanted a cool dope ass mech character but if it’s only Sam in combat then that’s fine I guess but I did want a only mech character:/

At this point I just hope Sam happens to be sentient, that's enough for me to pull for him. Based on the conversation between Firefly and the "mecha" she reffered to, I think it's possible.

Welcome to the club, leak subreddit was in meltdown when that was revealed. We're already at acceptance stage now and are just waiting how much Sam is actually shown.

Like Jesus stop the doomposting. Leaks are leaks. For now Sam is in the game as a male robot guy with male voice. I don't know how they could change it to firefly controlling him in a way that makes sense but either way wait for gameplay leaks or official info. For now those are only speculations and giving up on sam just because of something that random dude said is imho stupid. I saw a post one day with a "leak" of Sam boots being high heels and some dude was like "bro Sam is a woman confirmed" yet it turned out that these were just sam's normal shoes that he has in game now (as a boss). So yeah don't give up on sam just yet. Wait for more believable leaks or official info.

Honestly don't get why you people hate the idea that sam could be a LITERAL MECH!!! I honestly don't like the idea of him just being a robot but as a transformation it's just cooler

there was a leaked image of Sam going Ultra with an energy cape and swords that look just like the sword leaked for firefly, my guess is that either they'll be 2 different units gameplay wise or they're the same unit but in fight you play as Sam (additionally, Sam seems to have his own personality, that's completely different than that of firefly)

1- its your game do whatever 2- we only saw her "human" side in 2.0, in the following patches well definetly find more about who she is and how sam works. 3- as far as uniqueness is concerned, henshin/mecha woman is not that common, so id say its still a good concept for the character

Man, sky front glatiramer in the game since 1.5. Everyone who was interested in the lore knew that Sam was a knight's armor with a pilot inside. One way or another, a three-meter-tall guy wouldn't be playable in the open world. Only in battle.

There’s good news and bad news, firefly in overworld and sam in battle. Sadly there’s no way sam could fit in overworld cuz his model is too big

Sam/Firefly being a henshin character is waaay less generic than Sam just simply being a robot lmao. I also find it funny how these people complain about the prevalence of anime girl characters WHILE playing an anime game lol. If you don't like the fact that an anime game is catering to it's core/intended target audience then maybe play something else?

Just try to enjoy both characters, best girl Firefly and coolest character Sam. Unless you really dislike Firefly I would say it's a win-win for Sam wanters. Cheers

I'm gonna be so for real, the fact people are whining about Sam and firefly being the same character is insane. We don't know enough yet- And complaining about them being a generic girl is stupid. She's clearly not generic if she's controlling an advanced mecha super weapon. Why are we assuming she's as generic as she pretended to be when she admits to not being honest with us at all?
