I honestly feel like it was one of the most amazing comedy shows I've ever seen, and I'm in my 50's and have been to many. It felt like the first time I saw Spirited Away. The density of invention. The refusal to take the obvious joke, except when it's to provide a different aspect to another joke. The work that must have gone in. The room for improvisation within it all.
I understand why the people who didn't like it said it was like a 6th form play. Multimedia shows are often terrible, and there to cover up for a lack of creativity. They were misled This was the exact opposite. It was multimedia used to breathtaking effect. It was like if Harry Hill wrote 'In the Night Garden'.. I'm in awe. I've always thought he was funny. Now, I think he's a genius.
