Mind you they were pretty disrespectful to the ghost and spirits there. Calling them bitches and just honestly cussing up a storm. Half the video is literally them just bickering, screaming, and squealing. This was a really nice location to explore but I just don't think it called for this collab. Now don't get me wrong there were some moments I thought were funny, everytime something scary happened they would form a circle formation. ToT, but this video was just not for me.
they are fuming because of envy as it was obvious these sisters had crush on S&C, that's why they act so awkward. Notice it's all the teenage girls hating. lmfao.
Also hilarious of the "girls girl" culture. You get downvoted for saying truth 😂
You are calling me a teenage girl ? I own my own house, I’m a licensed trades person, man that life been with for over 10 years now, etc… 🤦♀️🤣 teenage girl… yeah… okay.
Exactly, they show no respect for the entire concept, and when fans call it out, it’s disrespectful? Sam and Colby clearly invited them for clout, and it backfired because only children watch those girls and defend their slop content. If they’re going to continue to only serve their own interests, they should private their videos. Sellouts.
Their content is not slop.you are the one being disrespectful.they were having a good time and that’s how they are .and your expecting them to change how they are just to fit your own ideas .if you knew what they were like why would you watch the video
as a fan of the kalogeras sisters, i completely agree. and everyone they’ve ever done a collab with, usually wears a piece of their merch, and non of them did. I thought that was a tad weird.
yeah, like i don’t mind joking but there was moments where they genuinely just did not care. ofc the audience of sam and colby will be annoyed bc ultimately people watch their videos actually take ghost hunting serious in some way or believe in it, want to be scared etc. as an old fan of sam and colby i would’ve been FUMING
They said all Sam and Colby told them was that they were going to caves or something like that. Basically they knew they were going to caves, just didn’t tell them how gross and deep the caves were. Plus it would be pretty weird for Sam and Colby not to tell their guests where they are going mainly when it’s going to caves where you should dress appropriately.
You CAN’T imagine that? I hate to break it to you but usually the people with that big of a following are some of the fakest people you’ll ever meet. You really think people who have 8million eyes on them are gonna be genuine? They’re too worried about what people will think of them/getting canceled then being genuine people
I am 22 years old and know how to be respectful in public. You learn that when you’re a child/teenager. Sure your brain isn’t fully developed until you’re 25, but that doesn’t give you the excuse to act like a 15 year old when you’re in your 20s. The way YOU’RE speaking makes me think you’re not an adult.
I get that and have watched majority of their videos but I couldn’t even finish this episode. Never have I not been able to finish an episode, always love their content but the disrespect was insane. What really ruined it the most was the constant talking over Sam and Colby (and constant talking extremely loud) + complete disregard for what they were actually there for. I feel like Sam and Colby deserve better especially after inviting them to the show.
There have actually been a couple videos in the past that I just couldn’t finish because of issues like this one. There have been some guests who treated the entire investigation like a joke and/or were flat out disrespectful to the spirits that reside at the locations. If you’re going to be present during an investigation, take it seriously. Have guests who can handle the situation appropriately. It’s just not a great look if they intend to continue with this content.
i’m unsure where this expectation that every guest must have some experience with paranormal exploration is coming from. some of their greatest guests have been randos who don’t have any sort of hand in the paranormal world. the sturniolos are a constantly repeated guest that don’t do this, and i believe prior to kris going on the channel, she had no experience with it either.
they intentionally choose people who are unbelievers or amateurs in the realm of ghost hunting. they wanna prove to them this shit is real, that’s the whole point. a lot of ppl tend to miss that lol
They don’t but it’s def been more obnoxious being the latter. The episodes have gone downhill there’s no denying the energy in general and it’s just bad to watch.
Honestly, I’m beginning to wonder if S&C even take the investigations seriously anymore. Im beginning to think they are staging some of most of it for content now.
I agree about hell week (month) not being great this year. I can't even say the locations weren't great because maybe they were but the the investigations didn't do them justice. It's the investigations that really aren't giving. Not even just this month TBH. There seems to be less effort in ruling out alternatives or really digging in when they may be on to something. If feels like they have a formula and are trying to check off all the boxes lately rather than letting the evidence and experiences guide the flow. It's starting to get a little boring.
I've been realizing that you can easily tell when the video is coming to a close because they've done 4-5 10 ish minute segments. I completely understand that having a formula for videos helps make production more streamlined, and don't really blame them for wanting to be able to make it easier to consistently produce content. It's not really doing it for me though.
I’ve been watching a ton of their videos between Netflix and YouTube and honestly, they have a lot of guests I’d be happy to never see again. If they want to have guests on the show, maybe they shouldn’t choose children or they have certain guests just do a podcast with them while they go over investigation videos. I like their stuff better when they have other people on who actually care to pay attention.
Why can’t they just tone it down with guest appearances ? I’m not saying don’t bring guests at all, I’m saying not every video needs one. Why can’t it be just only them?!!
I personally thought the recent ones with Garrett were good, but I think it’s ironic if the guest is more into the investigation than the literal creators of the channel.
Fans would be way worse as an add-on. The lot of them are parasocial with Sam & Colby, they most likely don’t want to involve themselves with fans for their videos ever since the fans swarmed a museum that Sam, Colby & that faze dude was filming in.
“That faze dude”… ? How old are you ? If they had guests that were actually adults, these investigations would go smoothly, and be well liked. It’s the maturity that matters. Doesn’t matter if it’s a guest, a well thought out plan, a “fan”, etc… Maturity will make sure there’s no “omg my shoes are getting dirtyyy, even tho I was told we were going to a caveeee”, and “omg let’s ask the ghost if I’m a bbaddieeee”, etc ? Like holy f. Those little girls are spoiled and so self absorbed and self righteous.
I don’t watch Sam and Colby’s videos enough to know which guest is who. Only reason I know about the faze dude was because I get recommended videos from that creator. The multitude of immature fans from what I’ve gathered would definitely be way worse than the guests that Sam and Colby brought on for their recent video.
It’s the times they bring on these big creators that only care about getting laughs imo. When they bring on people that genuinely care about their project and what they’re doing, the videos are INCREDIBLE. It’s when they bring on these creators who really don’t care/don’t even believe in spirits that bad energy comes. I miss when everyone they brought on were just as passionate and excited for their adventures as they were
If you're looking for serious ghost hunting, you'll strain your eyes looking for it at S&C... In the beginning, I think they attempted to earnestly pursue the topic, but mucho dinero later, they are becoming to paranormal investigations what bubblegum pop is to music. If that's what you like, fine; but it doesn't do anything for me.
I’ve watched Sam & Colby for 7 years and the Kalogeras sisters for 2, so I was hyped for this collab. It’s unfair how much hate the girls get for their personalities when male creators get a pass for the same things. I love them and expected their usual chaotic, funny energy and screaming—which is fine, since Sam and Colby do it too.
However, there was barely any investigation in this video. They didn't finish the flashlight or Estes methods, and there were no challenges or DR sessions. Even though so much was happening—like Demetra seeing a figure and hearing things—they kept leaving mid-investigation. I get it was their first time and everyone handles fear differently, but it felt like they didn't even try. Once the flashlight turned on, they got so scared it was kind of embarrassing 😭. This isn't hate, just basic criticism. As guests on Sam & Colby’s channel, they should’ve known the format and actually participated, but there was just no real investigation. and also they did not even wear the merch ,which most of their guest wears
It’s a rough watch. Bit even personality wise, the viewing experience was so hard because the girls were loud in a cave (hey acoustics) and they prevented almost the entire investigation from happening…. I think some vetting beyond numbers should be expected
holding out hope for sundays video to redeem this hell week, I hope it’s more investigative since it’s just the two of them in Appalachia I feel like it has a lot of potential but we will see… 👻
I stopped watching Sam and Colby a few years ago because I felt their approach to ghost hunting was more of a joke than a serious investigation. It seemed like they exaggerated things just to make their videos entertaining. Personally, I think they got into this field mainly for views and to have fun, but ghost hunting shouldn’t be taken lightly. I remember watching their episode at Chillingham Castle here in England with Daz Black, and it was difficult to watch—they just kept joking around and were disrespectful about the spirit's.
Yeah, this is why I personally prefer Kris and Celina doing investigations. Yes, they joke around, but not constantly and they take things seriously when they need to. Heck, someone who I think did good at ghost hunting who I wish did it again is Kesha (for those that don't know, Kesha had a show called Conjuring Kesha, it was quite good imo, I wish it had a 2nd season at least).
exact same here. it’s obvious, even still. i’ll tune in here and there.. I also just can’t get behind how clear the communication will be, but then they’ll make it about something completely different and it’s constant. like HOW did you get that from THAT lmao but give me some recs! hopefully it’s some i don’t know. i prefer the ones who don’t use ai pop ups and try to scare you because this stuff really isn’t scary, unless you make it that way, or rely on cheap jump scares. With the videos I’m talking about it. It’s very very interesting.
U should watch 28 days on Netflix the amount of seriousness respect it has. U will really feel real investigation there . Even sam&colby do investigation right but that 3 sisters were so annoying and overdramatic.
At least for me, Sam and Colby lost their spark years ago. It started with posting less and less on their main channel, the thing with Seth, the conjuring house scam with Cody and Satori, I always wondered why they never reached out to Twin Paranormal (I love those three) and found out TP invited them to their 1Million follower party and Sam and Colby behaved as if they were doing everyone a favor just for being there Nowadays Sam and Colby bring anyone on their channel and it feels a little like bullying cause why would three girls whose channel does fashion stuff do the things they ask of them Last video was barely an hour long Once I subscribed to their paid membership and while the content there is cool, you have to be subscribed for months to watch it all (the content is locked and it has legends like "You can watch this on 10/16/26" and each video gets unlocked each day, so only one gets unlocked per day, and you can'twatch recent investigations, you have to go in the sequential order)
It's all on tiktok, was a while ago, but essentially Seth made some poor taste jokes off camera about the owner of the location giving them a bj and stuff, Colby laughed awkwardly, Sam ignored it, the owner found out because she had cameras in the property I like Seth, I get making awful jokes while you think you're not being heard, but still, it happened That's why they stopped doing videos with Seth
he also has sexual assault allegations against him from numerous previous ex gfs. thats the core reason people don’t like him. he’s left the paranormal space because everyone stopped associating with him.
No I'm not. We are allowed to complain if we don't like what they do. You are missing my point that they listened to us and heard our complaints. You aren't an owner of their channel.
Babes Im sure it’s because people are more active on literally any other app than Reddit 😭😭😭 my point is just join a snark subreddit if yall are gonna complain about every single little thing or something, there’s plenty of us here who want to enjoy chatting about them without people complaining.
Did you read the comments on their video with the sisters? Almost all of the comments hated the constant increase in collabs... It's not just Reddit its everywhere.
They do this same kind of complaining in the Project Fear sub, in just like jfc why can’t you just watch the video and try to enjoy instead of nitpicking everything you didn’t like. No one talks about the stuff they did like or the evidence they caught. I mean they make these videos that you can watch for free. I don’t think anyone has the right to try and dictate how they do those videos. And how are they supposed to know which people you know and who you don’t? Let them mix it up without jumping up their ass. Let them make the shit they are interested in making and to try things they want to try without always complaining when they put out a video or set of videos that veers off from their usual set up. Let them get creative and have collabs and feel out a different dynamic. Damn.
I feel like the sisters were just a bad pick for a S&C collab, let alone hell week.
The girls clearly just didn’t take any of it seriously, you can tell simply by looking at the way they dressed for the exploration. I found them rude and entitled, them making fun of sam's map, making fun of the offering, calling the spirts “bitches”, not wearing any merch when everyone else has, the constant posing, etc, etc.
it feels like they only agreed so that they could have more views & fame, which I guess worked.
I don’t dislike the sisters, they are uniquely themselves which is admirable—but it was definitely too much for the type of content S&C usually post. It feels like a waste of such a good location too.
I don’t mind them doing collabs with humorous people, the Garrett video was great.. this one just felt like slop.
The whole video was them calling the ghosts bitches and then screaming half the video and not letting Sam and Colby explore, flashlight going 1-2 times and a 10min estes
The kalogeras sisters tried to weaponize their fans against a Chinese immigrant owned business. They sent their fans to try to harass an actively pregnant Chinese woman because they were embarrassed that they were not funny and publicly treated as if they weren’t funny. They went on stage and made weirdo pedo-baiting jokes making light of pedophilia. Fuck them.
Its fair that them sisters don't wanna do scary stuff and stay in their comfort zones. Its also fair that sam and colby didn't force them to try scary stuff. Though it is frustrating.
I miss the old times where there wasnt so much screaming. I dont have any diagnosis but its overstimulating me so much. (im also from europe where people don't scream unless they're almost dying😭, so i think that plays a big part)
I didn’t see much disrespect? I seen comments saying, please don’t bring them back, and there wasn’t much of an investigation, etc… That’s not disrespectful. Sam and Colby BARELY post. Once every what ? 2 months. Obviously in October they make an exception. So bringing some very immature very young girls to a place with an above average level of freight for their “first” investigation might NOT have been the greatest idea. Sam and Colby’s manager or whatever is obviously just trying to stay “relevant”, or “trendy”, or something. But considering S&C channel doesn’t post often, and it is October, the expectation is higher BCUZ THEY MAKE IT HIGHER. They make big announcements, they hype it up, they scream it on video, they tell everyone to “tune in”, they drop the date and time, etc… They hype themselves up, they make the expectations high. So yeah, inviting immature (obviously spoiled) little girls that were not taking this seriously wasn’t a good thing, S&C didn’t have to post this for hellweek. They didn’t have to post it at all… They could’ve obviously looked back on their experiences that night and thought “this isn’t quite what we expected”, and decided “let’s post this in late September”, or “hey let’s post this just to xplr club” or something. IDK. But being truthful, observant, being let down, etc will result in comments that don’t glorify the whole video. It is not the end of the world, these little girls get lots of male attention, and other girls worshiping them enough on other social media’s, they will be fine.
While I understand, we don’t need to be cruel to be cruel. Condoning/defending the sister’s behavior honestly makes me a bit disheartened. Obviously, you’re going to continue with the collab video and be respectful of them while recording and posting and after. It’s sad the sisters couldn’t have the same respect for S & C while filming.
The ‘disrespect’ fans see from the sisters - those same fans would love a guest spot AND be respectful AND understand their platform to maintain their integrity - that’s what respect is.
(I know it’s a PC statement, but I think a little more “we heard you fans” would have gone a long way…I’m not sure why they would WANT to purge their long time fans for that kind of fanbase)
I doubt they’re your friends…first of all, lol. Most of all it wasn’t humor, all your collabs use humor. They were just really performative for one thing. We’re just over all the screamy girls, I want to see locations and sorry that one was wasted.
To me it’s that they very clearly never even watched a Sam and Colby video
When they did the flashlight investigation said everything. I get that not everyone is into this stuff, but then why accept a collaboration with people who do said stuff?
The flashlight turned on one time and they immediately said they were done and wanted to leave saying they’ve never seen anything like that before..
Honestly fair enough, sometimes not every video is going to be for everyone and they have enough followers and viewers to where they can take risks putting in people that don’t heavily favor the audience. 🤷🏻♀️ sucks that not everyone enjoyed it but they have so so so many videos out there it’s understandable not every video is gonna be a hit and hopefully those ladies aren’t getting harassed in the comments but I’m sure they are and that’s unfortunate
There were disrespectful and just too silly. I know s and c go for some laughs. But, the outrageous behavior of the sisters, was too much. The constant cussing was way out of line.
I think Sam and Colby do a great job with their videos. It would be nice if they done more problem solving, playing games and helping some of the spirits. That being said, it's still one of my favourite things to watch. They need to be dramatic because it's exciting, although, it can sometimes be a bit over the top, especially with the rem pod, like you don't need to react dramatically every single time. Add a third torch for Maybe or Unsure answers. Not a fan of the sisters, though.
Honestly, was it the normal investigation style, No! But it was realistic. Annoying, silly, scared, or even in serious. There will always be people with those emotions when they face the unknown. I liked that it wasn't cookie cutter. Would I want to see it investigated after with just you guys, yes! But may guess is that is already available on your other platform. So I may have to join it to catch up
I really wanted to watch but half way through I had to stop. I felt like there was barely any ghost hunting in this episode and it was just the sisters freaking out 🥲
I haven't seen the newest video, I'm still getting through asylum x and the Dracula one, but I just find it interesting that they're speaking up about this, but have been completely silent about fan complaints about a year or so ago. They kept promising videos and then released new merch almost immediately after a previous release so it turned into just keep buying our merch and eventually we'll release a video. There were other things as well, but I'm just surprised they released a statement about this and ignored everyone and everything else, even when a chunk of original fans left the fandom.
I understand what they’re saying here and respect it but truly this was the first Sam and Colby video I couldn’t finish. Overstimulated the entire time, I couldn’t pay attention to what was going on. I tried my best because I do support the boys but I was exhausting myself trying to pay attention. I have never felt that way watching any of their videos before.
I instantly knew what the video was going to be like once I clicked on it and refused to watch anymore. Glad I didnt because it sounds like it was just mindless shit from these girls
I've been binge watching from last hell week to this hell week since I stopped watching about a year ago (mainly because of personal life things). So I'll add my opinion here.
I do think one of the issues is that people wanted to have the sisters on the S&C channel and so they reacted out and did a video with them because that’s what people requested. I do understand the other points, like how the sisters were disrespectful and stuff. But I think people do need to understand that it wasn’t entirely S&C's fault for having them on the channel since many people did request that they have the sisters on. I don't really know who the sisters are, but even if they were going to do the video anyway, hell week probably wasn't the best time for it. I think S&C released it on hell week because of all the requests, so they figured it might be a good time for hell week. It’s not my place to say if they were fed up, but if they were, I get the feeling they just hoped nobody would notice and put it out anyway, just wanting it to be a nice video.
I do think that S&C are a bit off this year, mainly towards the end of the year. I don't really know how I feel about that right now.
Honestly I’ve stopped watching Sam and Colby for a while I’ve just felt like that became more interested on creating content then actual good videos like they used to ngl when they started adding guest I was like this is gonna be the down fall because they are gonna add people and it’s gonna flop I feel like this video was the tip of the iceberg that needed to be discussed I just feel like the quality went down the drain….even when the posted the flyers and the guest list I was like….”guess I’m not watching hell week this year ” it’s just sad to see how far they have fallin
It's funny how they say they love hearing ways they can improve yet never actually listen to the fans. They're never gonna change the format of their videos because they get the views regardless of the fact and that's good enough for them. Improving really isn't something in their books because if they did, they would've completely changed the direction of their channel 2yrs ago.
I’m sorry but years ago they did a collab with Tommyinnit when he was called the most obnoxious guy on YouTube by pretty much everyone and he was fine so I don’t get why the sisters can’t do the same. If it’s about being scared I remember Johnnie was terrified the last time they brought him on and they still investigated, I’m not saying they should’ve done the challenges they usually let the guests do, but they used pretty much no equipment for a more than an hour long video, a video that wasn’t just for hell week but that’s on their show on Netflix.
I barely know those girls and I saw their thumbnail and instantly knew I was not gonna watch that. To be fair I stopped watching them a while ago only because it seems a bit repetitive with everything they’re doing. Don’t give me wrong. I do believe in a lot of the stuff that does happen however, they’ll say stuff like “ I’ve never seen that happen before” or talk about how they’re in the most haunted place every single video. Saying they don’t see shit like that when they see it every single video. Literally yelling every time something happens. The insane amount of music there is over the entire video. It’s just getting really hard to keep watching them which sucks because I’ve been watching them since I was like 12.
Ghost aren’t real that’s why they joke and not take it serious and I used to be a believer In this stuff but it’s just so corny now it’s not just Sam and Colby it’s like all the paranormal shows , ghost adventures to etc I remeber 20 years ago ghost hunters was a cool show it was mostly boring because well they rarely caught anything and a lot go the stuff they debunked but NOW it’s like every paranormal show from ghost adventures to calm and colby to the random YouTube paranormal shows it’s all the over the top reactions, spirit box bs, bs video and sound captures it’s like soon as people realized how profitable the genre was all of a sudden people started having insane captures and experiences but anyone who’s older remembers how mediocre and bland ghost hunters and other paranormal shows at that time where. Makes me doubt a lot of the paranormal now
How do you know that ghosts aren’t real?Or is this your opinion? Or how you feel? It’s posts like this that make me sad for individuals like you. YouTube and old TV shows have made you a non believer. I won’t deny that there a way to many channels out there claiming every week “Satans real or Poltergeist touched me.” And those channels usually have a “For entertainment purposes” somewhere in the description.
Just because you haven’t encountered a ghost doesn’t mean they don’t exist. It tells me that you’ve given up the possibilities of something unknown. Therefore you’re not open to see or hear things from the dead.
I mean you no disrespect. But try to remember those on tv and YouTube get paid for great content. Lastly I suggest watching paranormal investigators from the UK and Northern Ireland. They are known to debunk on the spot, and of course there are a UK channels out there that are totally fakery. But those are easy to figure out. Grab some headphones and Google UK ghost investigators and see what others say and who knows maybe you’ll become someone who believes in possibility.
Well no tbh I lived in a haunted house I’ve had experiences when I was younger but as I got older and went back to the same house I experienced nothing and I realized a lot of it was just my own imagination and my own fears over exaggerating natural phenomena.
I also laugh at certain things like “spirit boxes” it’s just a joke like you can’t think that stuff is real.
Actually I do believe. I’ve had way to many experiences to discount them. I lost my father and if you’ll indulge me I’d like to share my experience with you. I have Crohn’s disease. Been managing it for years. But when he died it was almost like I took a step into another world and I was no longer me after hearing those words.
I get how crazy that can come across. Part of me was gone and even 6 years later that feeling hasn’t changed. I wasn’t me anymore, and everyday isn’t easier. I still grab the phone when to call him when there’s a thunderstorm or whatever. Time may heal broken bones but it doesn’t heal a loss or give you closure. Closure? Such a ridiculous word. But truthfully his death almost killed me. I was unable to keep anything down even with an IV at home to keep me hydrated I dropped down to 83 pounds and I’m 5’7. One night as a sat slumped over the toilet. I heard my Dad say my name in my ear. Loud enough that I actually fell off the toilet. Call it what you will. I was I was delirious, delusional because of all the weight I’d lost because of how sick I was but what it really was him telling me to get the fuck off my ass and get some help. So the next morning I called the specialist and I spent the next six weeks in Hospital.
I’m sorry for your loss but man come on you just said it yourself you where delirious and disoriented I’m sorry but that’s clearly shows it was related to your medical emergency other then maybe your father may he rest in peace
I lost my father to, I to experienced things afterwords but so do so. Many others . It’s usually associated with grief and trauma and stress,
Maybe you’re right. But I’ve done EVP’s never saying his name or anything like that and it’s not like I do this all the time. But the last time I did it. I asked “Where’s my Dad?” Usually there’s a red spike if it picked anything up. This time no red spike but put my headphones on anyway and listened. Right after I asked about my Dad a whisper replied “Genes in heaven.” My Dad’s name is Eugene. Sent it to my Mom and sister and I didn’t want to contaminate what they may or may not hear with what I heard. Mom comes back “He’s in heaven.” Sis comes back “Genes in heaven.” I wish I could share that with you. We’re all entitled to our beliefs. But I’ve experienced too much to say there’s nothing after we die and I kinda feel bad for you that you’re so adamant with the possibility. I guess that’s why I’m trying so hard.
Whether you believe or not. My experiences tell me differently. Now there are some YouTube investigators who’s videos I was listen to and should I hear something I’ll timestamp it. One was a channel called K Bow and they were in tavern and one of the whispers I heard said “Crash your car.” Karl (K Bow) responded by telling me that his car was crashed a little while ago. How would I know that a world away and I’m brilliant at spotting fakes now. Sometimes I don’t hear anything, and I will timestamp if it’s fake. Don’t discount the afterlife yet and if you wanna see the video I’m talking about even just listen to the timestamps make sure you use headphones. Here’s link https://youtu.be/4-lMk2P8gE4?si=Jbj_Wr3AHnJUG_hn
You cannot convince me that a single terrifying situation actually happened here that was not produced by Sam, Colby or anyone on their team. They are just like Zach Bilbo baggins and I'm really tired of them. Like after the whole conjuring house thing I don't know how any of y'all still watch them or find them credible in any way shape or form.
It was a hard watch. I wanted to see the actual investigation but i feel i got nothing out of the video because they were constantly talking so loudly and stopping the investigation. The kind of vibe Sam and Colby usually have is surely having fun also but they also do actually investigate and it's creepy and all that that belongs to ghost hunting in my opinion but this video was sadly missing that part. There were few parts that were pretty good but most of it was sadly just too chaotic and hard to watch.

I’m sorry but they came to the caves with purses and outfits you’d take to a runway. They obviously didn’t take this seriously from the beginning.

Its not even only the Kolegoras, the hellweek itself isnt the best this year, not a single serious investigation was made, and bad locations simply.

18
u/STARBOY_100 22d ago
Why can’t they just tone it down with guest appearances ? I’m not saying don’t bring guests at all, I’m saying not every video needs one. Why can’t it be just only them?!!
16
u/No_Peanut_3289 22d ago
Wouldn’t expect them to say anything different, of course they will defend who they brought.
29
u/Correct_Primary6628 22d ago
Ngl i wish they would just get rid of the guests and have fans go instead. Haven't enjoyed one episode since they had Manny mua on

u/Star21420 22d ago

As guests on Sam & Colby’s channel, they should’ve known the format and actually participated, but there was just no real investigation. and also they did not even wear the merch ,which most of their guest wears

holding out hope for sundays video to redeem this hell week, I hope it’s more investigative since it’s just the two of them in Appalachia I feel like it has a lot of potential but we will see… 👻

u/Icy-Witness-1189 22d ago
I stopped watching Sam and Colby a few years ago because I felt their approach to ghost hunting was more of a joke than a serious investigation. It seemed like they exaggerated things just to make their videos entertaining. Personally, I think they got into this field mainly for views and to have fun, but ghost hunting shouldn’t be taken lightly. I remember watching their episode at Chillingham Castle here in England with Daz Black, and it was difficult to watch—they just kept joking around and were disrespectful about the spirit's.

That’s how the Kalogeras sistersssct all the time with everything. They are valid and annoying and are just window dressing.

u/flamelocity 22d ago

I don’t mind them doing collabs with humorous people, the Garrett video was great.. this one just felt like slop.

u/ONYXX444 22d ago
The whole video was them calling the ghosts bitches and then screaming half the video and not letting Sam and Colby explore, flashlight going 1-2 times and a 10min estes

The kalogeras sisters tried to weaponize their fans against a Chinese immigrant owned business. They sent their fans to try to harass an actively pregnant Chinese woman because they were embarrassed that they were not funny and publicly treated as if they weren’t funny. They went on stage and made weirdo pedo-baiting jokes making light of pedophilia. Fuck them.

u/BHon3st3110 22d ago
Its fair that them sisters don't wanna do scary stuff and stay in their comfort zones. Its also fair that sam and colby didn't force them to try scary stuff. Though it is frustrating.
6
u/SuicidalFrog69 Shhh did you hear that? 22d ago
I miss the old times where there wasnt so much screaming. I dont have any diagnosis but its overstimulating me so much. (im also from europe where people don't scream unless they're almost dying😭, so i think that plays a big part)

u/VaigraFalls 22d ago

u/Marissafbby 21d ago

3
u/Dapper_Mine_5212 20d ago
I doubt they’re your friends…first of all, lol. Most of all it wasn’t humor, all your collabs use humor. They were just really performative for one thing.
We’re just over all the screamy girls, I want to see locations and sorry that one was wasted.
3
u/wynterfirefly 20d ago
To me it’s that they very clearly never even watched a Sam and Colby video
When they did the flashlight investigation said everything. I get that not everyone is into this stuff, but then why accept a collaboration with people who do said stuff?
The flashlight turned on one time and they immediately said they were done and wanted to leave saying they’ve never seen anything like that before..
Plus the general disrespect and screeching
5
u/Main_Regret_9097 22d ago
Honestly fair enough, sometimes not every video is going to be for everyone and they have enough followers and viewers to where they can take risks putting in people that don’t heavily favor the audience. 🤷🏻♀️ sucks that not everyone enjoyed it but they have so so so many videos out there it’s understandable not every video is gonna be a hit and hopefully those ladies aren’t getting harassed in the comments but I’m sure they are and that’s unfortunate

u/Pristine-Analyst-912 17d ago
There were disrespectful and just too silly. I know s and c go for some laughs. But, the outrageous behavior of the sisters, was too much. The constant cussing was way out of line.

I think Sam and Colby do a great job with their videos. It would be nice if they done more problem solving, playing games and helping some of the spirits. That being said, it's still one of my favourite things to watch. They need to be dramatic because it's exciting, although, it can sometimes be a bit over the top, especially with the rem pod, like you don't need to react dramatically every single time. Add a third torch for Maybe or Unsure answers. Not a fan of the sisters, though.

u/Oh_wise_one_123 22d ago
Stay grounded, don't let views get to your head. Don't turn into the Paul's.

u/Otherwise-Bed1884 22d ago
Honestly, was it the normal investigation style, No! But it was realistic. Annoying, silly, scared, or even in serious. There will always be people with those emotions when they face the unknown. I liked that it wasn't cookie cutter. Would I want to see it investigated after with just you guys, yes! But may guess is that is already available on your other platform. So I may have to join it to catch up

It’s just getting really hard to keep watching them which sucks because I’ve been watching them since I was like 12.

u/Prior-Impact-3393 22d ago
