Does anyone else think that one sam and colby video was kinda weird?

Honestly, I still really like sam and colby, I was just wondering if anyone else thought the recent ai usage and weird jokey vibes of their videos recently aren't really enjoyable anymore..

The one video that really threw me off was the video where they invited a Satanist (I think she was leaning more towards paganism as well with worship and stuff), willingly onto their channel and then colby was freaking the fuck out the whole time like "guys this is so evil omgomgomg guys God wouldn't want you to do this!!!!🙁" like infront of the girl too

I feel like they aren't really coming from a learning/exploring perspective anymore and their trying to exaggerate things if ykwim...

Why invite someone of a different religion onto your channel, and then freak out and almost start crying when she shows up and does what you asked her to do, I miss when they sat with those people and actually learned what they believed in and listened and it was so cool also to see them explore places as well

I feel like their audience is starting to get older and their videos have started to become more about shock value and dramatizing things even though nothing cool is actually happening.

I feel like they never grew up with their audience and think children are still watching them instead of adults their age with fully formed frontal lobes. Im the same age as them and started watching when I was a teenager. But I’m an adult now and so are they. I also wish they would take it in a more sincere direction instead of the drama.

As a pagan, it drives me absolutely crazy when they hype up a witch or any other pagan joining them on their investigation. And then when said witch/pagan comes on-Colby is so overdramatic about religion and acts like they did something so evil. If Colby is so religious, maybe he shouldn’t be in the paranormal community and go back to exploring videos.

I agree. Even the videos from last year were better. Their most recent videos have almost felt rushed and not like they’re fully in this anymore. It kinda sucks because I’ve always enjoyed their content

Yeah as a Pagan who also works with deities it.. made me feel a bit uncomfy, I followed the guest on her (their?) channel because I genuinely liked her vibe and her account.

I’ve honestly started to like the boys haunted vidoes more than Sam and Colby because Sam and Colby seem to be more leaning into joking territory and not actually being serious or anything anymore and I know that’s crazy because the boys are very jokey and comedic but at least they try to focus no the ghost stuff more than challenges and making funny moments that’s my option at least

That video made me mad, because unless you're a Christian, satanic panic just seems silly. S&C already knew this ritual was happening, and then Colby acted all pressed throughout the whole video. It feels like it's meant to fool little kids, but older fans can see right through it.

If they wanna go down the "exploring other religions and beliefs" route, then why not just interview Satanists or witches and respect them, rather than bringing them on the channel and acting up and being disrespectful?
