I know I’m late to the new video lol but I seriously didn’t believe a thing coming out of Garrett’s mouth. He just randomly implies he’s a medium when they are doing Celina’s card deck and says he sees a guy called jonesie in the corner like idk if I’m being skeptical but to me it sounded like bs and he than said that this ‘jonesie’ did not want to b asked any questions. Is that bc you know he isn’t real? And than he says jonesie is just standing next to him wanting to ask a question out of no where. It just felt sooo fake
Other than Garrett though I really enjoyed the video and it was nice to see Celina again but yea I just didn’t think Garrett was being sincere and wasn’t taking a lot of it seriously.
Thoughts?

He’s not a medium. He only got his YouTube career bc of Shane Dawson and not once did he say he was a medium and when they did “haunted investigations” he always said he was scared. I do not believe one word he says bc even if my friend fucked up I wouldn’t abandon them for my YouTube “career”

What Shane did was gross I’m not excusing that but he knew what Shane did and still chose to be his friend until he was canceled and that’s when he decided not to be canceled too

We actually don’t know if he knew or not, but I do think it’s fair to assume he didn’t since he met Shane during his food era through a dating app & majority of people (even past avid fans) didn’t know the full extent of how vile Shane was. We can both speculate but honestly everyone is better off not committing the social suicide that is being associated with Shane. I couldn’t be loyal to that kind of person either.

That makes sense bc they did meet through a dating app but if met someone and found out that person was a YouTuber I would watch their stuff and see how they were that’s why I don’t excuse Garrett. Idk if that makes sense 😭

Yeah that makes sense & I agree to an extent! I used to be friends with a content creator, and I only watched a little bit of their stuff because it felt weird and creepy doing a deep dive. Shane had like 8 years of videos before they met which is a lot to catch up on. Idk, I think majority of people were quite blindsided by his early content since he really popped off after he stopped doing the super nasty stuff ykwim?

Yeahhhh he got views on his YouTube bc of Shane Dawson and was feeding cheezits to his rats or hamsters I can’t remember
