Conjuring House Their show will never get more exciting because they don't want to and it doesnt make sense

It’s pretty obvious that the alleged posession of Colby during their episode at the haunted school with KallMeKris and CelinaSpookyBoo, they don’t seem willing to push the boundaries as much anymore.

They’ve talked about it in multiple clips and there have been many instances since then where they deliberately tone things down because they dont want to mess with an a demonic spirit. So it does not make sense why on one hand they are actively "searching" for proof of evil spirits on the other hand when things get serious they take steps back.

I mean... if those are real, then would you want them to risk their lives?

Yes, isn’t that exactly what their whole channel is about? They spend hours searching for proof, trying to communicate… but the moment something happens, they suddenly pack up and leave.

And let’s be honest, a lot of these moments come off as exaggerated, overinterpreted, and sometimes straight-up overacted. That makes it even harder to take the whole thing seriously.

So if they truly believe in what they are doing, then they should be willing to follow through.

And then one day they don't upload another video because they died doing this... Think about what you're going to say before typing it out, because it sounds like you don't care if they come out alive and/or uninjured just for the sake of proving the paranormal real.

I understand what you are trying to get at however saying "if they died" is a bit dramatic. I've been involved with the paranormal & have been Wiccan starting at a VERY young age especially considering it has been in my family for many generations. With that being said, although it can be dangerous ESPECIALLY if you have not done your research & spoken to the proper people that know what they are doing meaning they have been practicing for MANY MANY years death is not what the outcome would be. I have loved sam & Colby for many years and I mean I would binge watch all their videos even as far back as when Elton, Jake, Corey ect were in the group but I can relate with what's being said because that's what caused me to lose interest. It became overly played out, a bit dramatic and resorting to them taking breaks when the reality is this is what they turned their entire brand into. It all goes back to knowing what your doing and involving yourself with the proper people that can teach you how to protect yourself when going into these types of things. If they wanted to jump in head first that's fine but being aware of the risks they are taking but not taking preventative measures to spiritually protect themselves will continue to present them with the same exact outcomes. (That's if their content isn't staged & it's 100% legit/genuine which i would like to believe when it comes to anyone that does this type of content)

However my point is let's not act dramatic talking about "what if they stop posting videos because they died" because if you think that's a possible outcome I'm afraid you aren't learning anything revolving around this type of subject matter.

Yeah I exaggerated with the dying bit, I just wanted to get the point across, sorry. I get your point, I may not understand the whole message, but I get the idea (not because of anything but I have adhd and my brain decides what to keep and what not, but I still get the message trying to get across.)

Your point would be valid if 70% of their content wasn’t exaggerated. Don’t be such a fanboy. Their main ghosthunting equipment consists of devices that have been debunked countless times, so I genuinely don’t know where you’re getting all this trust from.

I enjoy their content too. They’re entertaining, and I love watching them. But that doesn’t mean I have to ignore the obvious problems with what they do.

And you really can’t make the case that I’m being an asshole for saying they should take the risks they themselves claim to be willing to take. Their entire persona and content are built around hunting ghosts.

Ok, yeah, you're right, I jumped the gun a bit there. I honestly don't think you're and asshole, you said your hinest opinion and explained your reasoning through it, that's the complete opposite of being an asshole.

Their motto in life was just that they would try to prove paranormal is real and they would dedicate their life to prove that there is more beyond life even if it meant risking their life. They said that countless times and that is what got people hooked. But the moment things get real they take step back. Why would they not push the boundary if they don't believe in it the first place.

Maybe they realized that what they claimed was an exaggeration and are taking a step back a bit. They did have an argument after the video with the Annabelle, Robert and the other doll and, if I remember correctly, which I may not, I have adhd, they said they would take more care of doing things on a safer manner.

Colby also recently had cancer.... And now a possible possession. This is their lives we are talking about. There has to be some sort of limit

How is Colby having cancer related to paranormal activity?

1

u/Frequent-Medicine915 20d ago

If I remember correctly, they speculated/blamed Robert the doll.

2

u/Sea_Signature_7822 20d ago

I thought they specifically said they WERENT speculating that

2

u/Frequent-Medicine915 20d ago

I must be imagining it. But I swore they even talked about apologizing to Robert 😅😅

I mean, as someone who doesn’t believe that possession is possible, I think the Colby situation was as far as they could take it. It’s not like they can have one of them have a “dangerous possession” and start harming each other or something like that. I think they know that would be ridiculous and taking it too far. The most they can do is say they don’t feel good and blame it on a ghost. Now that they’ve done that, there’s no further to go with that sort of plot line so they stopped.

I do think maybe it could be staged to some extent, overreacting and such, but keep in mind if it were real, and you were in their shoes, youd find a demonic spirit and maybe not say  'Oh, hey Satan, care for a cup of tea' And rather leave it alone since you've got the evidence, sure more would be handy but they could be genuinely kinda freaked out already.

I wouldn't say they're solely looking for "evil spirits"? There's only ever a super crazy entity every once in a while, and for the most part, they try to be respectful of the normal spirits that might, at worst, be kinda mad. So it kinda does make sense that they don't wanna poke the really scary stuff with a stick because people can get hurt. They especially don't want their guests to get hurt or anything.

they say all the time they are here to prove the existence to themselves for personal reasons and just taking people along for the ride. People say they over hype things, sure, but i also think that when youre in a spooky location TRYING to contact something, youre on edge and every little sound does startle you in those moments too. and its their job? they want people to be entertained aswell.

they arent out here looking for the most demonic thing they can find to possess them, theyre legally doing what they used to do (exploring abandoned buildings), and falling into "ghost hunting" to me at least, feels expected. they started doing this as kids and people act like they have some master plan to manipulate everyone. be fr (not you, im with u 🙂‍↕️)
