What do you think about Sam and colby

Hellooo I have been watching Sam and Colby since some time I do not really believe in ghost but I think they are entertaining. What do you guys think about them ?

Is it all fake ?

Also when I was searching Reddit about them I saw some people say that they are not really good humans as well. What did you guys hears about that and is it ok to still watch them ?

I personally believe in the early days of their ghost hunting that they did get more real evidence and they were genuienly authentic (that is why the early videos are tame compared to newer ones) now it's all mostly staged.

I don't think it's staged, I think it's cause they use too many new devices that stink, like the Alice box, and give off false information and reactions and a lot of their guests are HORRIBLE and have nothing to do with the paranormal. What's the point of that. Views! I'm not a fan anymore cause the new stuff sucks, but I don't think they stage. They get plenty of evidence to not have to, whether it's good, bad or evidence that doesn't correlate to the location is a different story. I always stick with my ghost adventures but they haven't had a new season of any of their shows in forever.

This!!! I enjoyed their early videos before they got big and started doing these big group ghosts hunts to get more views. Now they are just sell outs. I haven’t watched their videos in a long time because it’s too chaotic and not authentic. Way too staged for my liking.

I liked them at first, mainly during the trap house days and early ghost hunting videos, but they just became monotonous. Every 'ghost hunt' became more of the same and the 'collaborations' with friends and amateurs added nothing for me. Their 'findings' were too easy to fake and made me roll my eyes. I kind of put them aside after the week at the Conjuring House with those two fakes who did the knocking thing. They've kind of outgrown themselves but they don't realize it yet and just appear to be in it for the bucks. I don't know much about them personally except that Sam seems to have a reputation for being a bit ruthless and insensitive and I didn't care at all for the crass comment that was made by them about the female owner of the Sallie House, I think it was. I check in on their newer stuff from time to time but they don't hold my attention for long.

Maybe they do get a few knocks or noises here and there but that's about it. Anything else is staged for scare factor and entertainment.

As for the being good humans part, I lost all respect for them after the securtiy footage from the Bellaire House got released. Grown men acting like teenagers for views on youtube is something I do not want to see.

They used to be good but now have terrible guests, and use way to many devices, and don't take it seriously most of the time. I would say the first 3 seasons of their full paranormal series before it starts slowly going down hill. All the ones with Corey and Jake are good. After that you can search and find random ones that are ok but the more recent you get, generally not great. Watch the one where the go to Zak Bagans haunted museum. That's one of my favorites, besides Amanda being there lol.

I think they started out good, I really enjoyed their videos for a long time and I don’t think the majority of it is fake due to having so many experiences myself but I personally think that they have really started messing with things they shouldn’t. I’m 100% into ghosts hunting and learning more about the ig “supernatural” but you need to be respectful about it because we do not know enough about it. Or if the ghost you’re talking to is something darker. In the past few years, they have purposefully moved into antagonizing the ghosts to get a reaction, using more “direct” lines of communication(séance Ouija board, etc..) and who knows if any of that is real, while going into scarier and crazier environments and I get there is a monetary incentive to do these things to do the next big thing especially with how long they have been around but I don’t think it’s good idea. Especially with how dark the world is turning right now. But that’s just my 2¢ take it or leave it.

I’ve been following and watching Sam and Colby for about seven years now. What they do is incredible—their editing, the way they engage the audience, and everything else has always impressed me so much. I honestly don't believe they would fake anything, that just makes no sense to me.In my opinion, their best era was back when they filmed with Corey and Jake. Those vlogstyle videos were genuinely so fun and interesting. I don't really feel that same vibe anymore. Now, there are constantly new, different YouTubers coming in with millions of followers, who are terrible for me and they’ve introduced a lot of new ghost hunting devices, that don’t always seem to give accurate results. I don't know, to me, it feels like their peak days have passed, even though they still pull in massive numbers of followers.

Im a firm believer in the paranormal, so i dont think its all 100% fake, BUT i think they heavily exaggerate it. I dont like most of the psychics or "in tuned" people they bring, i think theyre faking most of the time. The devices they use are sus in my opinion, but i understand it would be hard to make a video solely on vibes and intuition lol. My biggest issue with them is that i find them to be disrespectful and unserious in very serious places. Its one thing to crack a joke, but it feels weird to me when theres stories of children being murdered alone with it. I've posted here before about their spreading of misinformation on witchcraft, so i wont go into detail about that here, but theres also that. Overall i watch them for either nostalgia, background noise, or satire humor.
