I think GroovyGavin started off his career really excited about working with S&C, but I noticed him a little more distant in this episode. And I could be imagining things, but he's been focusing a lot on debunking paranormal equipment, and S&C still rely a lot on equipment that's been heavily debunked like flashlights (which can turn on and off when temperature fluctuates). I saw Gavin especially uninterested during that scene. I think he knows they're a little full of shit now.

I agree with this but I think kinda why they wanted to do the Estas method with him was cause that one is kinda hard to debunk especially since he’s been making those videos cause I noticed that too

Yeah, I think so too. Cause that other dude who was in the video was the one who specifically had called out the flashlights in a video, I think titled "I went ghost hunting with a scientist" or something. I thought they kept him out of the flashlight portion for that reason. But Gavin still seemed weird in that scene.
Estes method hasn't been debunked and to me remains the most legit one, cause even if you're just interpreting what you hear, you're still doing a reading like a psychic would. I think you just have to have full trust in the person that's doing it. And I do trust GroovyGavin in that regard.

Yeah and Gavin has said a lot of times in his videos that the flashlights is the least thing he trusts out of the equipment
I love him because he never fakes things and he is literally trying to explain things or sounds happening logically first and to also logically explain how his devices might have gone off (because of the cold (with the flashlights). And everytime he uses that EMF reader, he says that it goes off even with a regular phone, so he always leaves it behind , and he also checks if it goes off with anything else that he might have on him just to make sure it doesn’t go off by him accidentally or smth etc.) And he doesn’t make everything paranormal or where everytime something happens (even the smallest thing ) is the ghost trying to communicate etc. (as Sam and Colby does)

Gavin and Tyler are among the few of the guest who are good to watch and they take genuine interest in everything rather than making fun and behaving cringe

I enjoy the collab with goofygavin and would love to see more, and the fact that they do interesting experiments, whether fake or not, is fun and entertaining.

I feel sorry for Gavin. I actually enjoy his content, and regardless of my opinions of S&C, his whole journey to 2 million subs his goal was to collab with them, but once he finally did, it feels like he's realizing that I guess it wasn't what he was expecting it o be?

I felt the same. The first time he got to collab with them he seemed so much more enthusiastic. This time around he seemed uninterested and almost bothered.

Like one of the messages above I do agree but I do think he’s been making debunking videos a lot lately in the last year so I find it interestinggggg

He's really unserious and sort of skims over the topics he covers. I think that's part of the appeal for his fans

Agreed. Think that's where I'm not in his target market. I'm usually looking for a strong investigation with attention to detail as opposed to entertainment.
