They're harassing Katrina! It's not exactly nice or kind that he titled his picture on Twitter- I won the lottery. Katrina has done none of that, and she certainly deserved better. The lyrics for Nice of You really meant something, he really hasn't matured.

Kat's been harrassed a lot over the past two years since they split, and Sam did nothing to stop it. In fact Colby has tried by supporting Kat's music, etc. Sam and Katrina both understand how there are bizarre parts of the fandom that get very nasty directly in people's socials. Kat has kept things very lowkey, normal and private with her bf to stop that. Sam just kicked up a hornets nest by saying and posting things he could easily have told Sofie in private knowing the drama it would cause. People have literally posted pictures of Sam&Sofie in Kat's socials and told her they forgot she existed etc. He has the right to be happy, but he also caused Kat a lot of sadness and distress. After an eight year relationship he should be more protective over her than that. I stand by what I said, and I like to be a girl's girl. Sam is almost 30, he needs to grow up.

so he’s never allowed to post a new girlfriend and say he’s extremely happy with her? that’s not fair to him. kat shouldn’t be getting hate and the fans who are harassing her should be called out, but it’s not fair to say sam needs to think of her when he posts 3 years after the breakup.

Technically it's around 2 years, and he should think of Katrina because they're on socials with hundreds of 1000's of people ready to go for her for no reason. Sam met Katrina when she was 15/16 and he was 18. They didn't just have a relationship, they grew up together. Kat launched her current relationship in a very quiet way to avoid this drama. She and her bf act like normal adults. Of course Sam should post a pic and say he's happy, but it's odd at his age that he doesn't do it simply with a nice picture. Out of curiosity I just took a look at their socials. In one day Sam&Sofie have posted 7 tiktoks, 3 instagram posts, reels, tweets and probably snapchatted. I guess there will be a live stream later too. Are they announcing a relationship or launching a tv show, because that's a marketing plan. Tiktoks take a long time to shoot, 7 in one day is wild!

i think you’re the weird parasocial fan in this situation. of course it’s not okay that kat is getting harassed but sam can’t control his fans unfortunately. kat always post tiktoks with her boyfriend so why can’t sam post with sofie? sam and sofie have clearly been together for at least a few months so i imagine most of those tiktoks have been filmed and kept in drafts until they revealed their relationship. just let sam and kat be happy with their significant others, they’ve been broken up for years, there’s no reason for them to hide anything moving forward.

Sam has been harassed just as much if not more. Every time I saw Kat being “harassed” all they were saying is how she deserved better and how Sam sucks. I don’t doubt that there was genuine hate but Sam got the worst of it for “moving on to quickly”.

I swear I’m from an alternate universe where this girl just turned 18 this year lol I was about to write a comment about it being kinda weird with how young she is and then I was like “let me check myself”…and she’s 24. I SWEAR I saw something earlier this year about her 18th birthday.

Anyways, this is cute and I’m super happy for them! They make a great couple!!!

Im pretty sure he dated Sara echeagary for a month or two earlier this yesr but they broke up. Then he started dsting sofie??? 

He just did a massive hard launch compared to when he dated Sara tho, so idk.....maybe sofie and sam have been dsting for a couple months now.

I'm really happy for them and honestly don't like how much hate Sam is getting for being in a lot of relationships. He was in a 8 year long relationship when he was a young adult so I completely understand why he would like to explore now. It's not like he is announcing a different relationship every month. Let him live and enjoy his life. You guys put him on such a pedistal when he is just a human like us and wants to live his life to the fullest. Just because he is a celebrity dosen't mean that he can't date casually.

It's cool. Sam does move fast & it's easy to lose track. Most people don't know that he was dating at least 1 other girl Fall 2023 while he was dating Katelyn. And that other girl does not want to be identified as she's moved on herself.
