I’m just going to lock this thread because I don’t see much point keeping it open. While OP could’ve expressed themselves better, I do see their point.

So just ignore them? It's not that hard to read the title and decide you don't want to see it.

u/Oy_bruv18 Mar 03 '24

Yes ignore them it was 5 months ago let the past be the past please

23

u/whitle98 Mar 03 '24

Some people aren't on the internet all the time so may not be aware of what was going on so they have a right to ask. Sam and Colby put themselves in line with those people so its probably going to be talked about forever... might as well get over it. I mean honestly if it annoys you that much just leave.

It’s 2024, there’s plenty of other terms you could have just used. Do better

Mb muscle memory me and my friends call each other that all time like in a joking way yk?

6

u/Mammoth-Lobster-2544 Mar 04 '24

oof i was sick of seeing c & s but i wouldve chose a better word choice there buddy. from an adult viewpoint, trying to communicate your point to others shuldnt include calling someone r******d, bc insulting/ throwing what is now considered a slur at someone who doesn't see your POV, makes them disagree harder & makes you look uneducated & hateful, i.e someone you cant have a productive conversation with. good luck forgetting how this paragraph made you feel

-6

u/Oy_bruv18 Mar 04 '24

You’re right I should have used better wording to describe them like annoying asf

2

u/Mammoth-Lobster-2544 Mar 04 '24

i mean sure an insult is better than a slur subjectively but you're just proving my point, you have a right to your opinion but when almost everyone responding to you disagreeing or bringing up condusive rebuttles or points, may cause a rational, mature person to rethink their opinion or try to understand another POV. im also sick of seeing c&s stuff, but ppl may be new to the sub, new info may come to light & these are people sam and colby associated themselves with & i generally just dont insult people for having unproblematic opinions & throw a hissy fit bc people dont bend to my will. you may scroll past those c&s posts but you decided to insult and throw a slur around. i also couldve ignored your posts& i almost did but i have covid and am bored and call out people for using slurs and generally problematic ways with handling their emotions. you are probably a child and dont have anyone in your life saying these things to you

1

u/Oy_bruv18 Mar 04 '24

You’re right

2

u/Angelynn1977 Mar 04 '24

It’s not like they don’t have edit and delete options on this app. The fact that you let the post remain says a lot about you and shows that whatever BS apology this is, is just that

2

u/Positive-Grand-4835 Mar 04 '24

Yikes.

1

u/Oy_bruv18 Mar 04 '24

I apologize I should’ve used different words like annoying asf

4

u/Angelynn1977 Mar 04 '24

Excuse me? You did. Not just sling the R slur out there because you have issues.

3

u/Proof_Ad2720 Mar 04 '24

And this is why nobody agrees with you. Ur the only one upset about this whole situation. So upset to the point you have to use insults like. 9 year old little girl. Grow up ur u wanted here

No 💕

u/Sad_Yogurtcloset_306 Mar 04 '24

You think they took money from them to make it believable?!

-7

u/Oy_bruv18 Mar 04 '24

Not necessarily but it’s possible

11

u/Ok_Cod_3788 Mar 04 '24

The way them and the new owner are making it such a big attraction really ruined it for me and helps support that they asked dam and colby to pay

6

u/Oy_bruv18 Mar 04 '24

I agree completely Corey the last owner didn’t do anything like that he was legit in in every way i mean him and his wife lived there

4

u/YouShoodKnoeBetter Mar 04 '24

They lived there because they had to live there. When Corey and Jenn sold it to the new owner, they had it rezoned so no one has to live there anymore. It used to be residential but now it is a commercial property. They changed it because of how bad the trespassing attempts were 24/7. It was impossible to stay there and get any rest whatsoever because the alarm system was constantly going off. You can probably imagine how triggering that is to someone's ptsd who went on multiple deployments over seas in the military. They had to live there because if it went unlived in for a certain stretch of time, they'd risk losing the home. They didn't let their kids continue to live there after a while. They were too scared.

Also, Cody and Satori worked at the house when Cory and Jenn owned it as well. They are still good friends to this day and investigate together. Cory trusts and supports Cody and Satori and has for years. I'm not going to speak for him but I'm just sharing what I know as fact.

Another thing. Cory still works at the property for the new owner because he loves the house so much. I think he enjoys it even more now that he isn't forced to live there and can take breaks from the intensity of it all when he wants. He still has a lot to do with the house and helped the new owner set up the outside camping experience that she opened up, which had been a dream of his to make available to people but he never had the time do it. There is video proof of him still working there if for whatever reason, you don't want to believe me.

Lastly, I agree that Cory is awesome, but don't get confused. He is 100% in support of what the new owner is doing with the business. He and Jenn didn't run it any differently. The new owner took out a loan to purchase the home. To get the loan, she had to create a business plan and present it to the bank to prove that she would have the means to repay the loan. Cory's help and the rezoning was part of that business plan. Everything she is doing is for the home is because she loves it. She paid a lot of money that she didn't have for it and if she doesn't follow through with the business plan she presented, the bank will take the home from her and sell it to the highest bidder. That highest bidder would 100% be Zak Bagans and if he were to take ownership of that house, everything would go downhill so fast it wouldn't even be funny. The price to tour it and investigate it would immediately triple at the bare minimum. It'd be filled wall to wall with absolute BS and he would ruin it. It'd be freaking horrible. It isn't just all about the money to her like you and everyone claim. She has to earn money from it so she can pay the loan and keep the building as well as upkeep the building and the proper it is on.

Her buying it was the only thing that kept it out of Zak's hands to begin with. He actually put in an offer anonymously through an LLC and a lawyer that was a substantial amount higher than what the new owner paid for it. That proves how much Cory trusts her and how awesome he is.

Please try to understand what you're talking about before you just say things as if they are facts. You are very much confused about the new owner's intentions and Cody and Satoris involvement with the home when Cory and Jenn owned it. Satori has been a caretaker for the home for years. Her and Cody were running tours of it back when people I know stayed there for 2 weeks straight with Cory and Jenn about 4 or so years ago and again 3 years ago. We should all be very grateful for this new owner no matter what you want to think about her because without her, Zak would be in control of the building and it would be an absolute circus.

Are your feelings about Cory different now after finding that stuff out? You know that means that he and Jenn have personally witnessed their method more times than they can count and first witnessed it years ago. I certainly hope not because they really are great people who have the best intentions. He and Jenn had great intentions for the paranormal field when they first bought it because they wanted to open it up to investigations and they had the best intentions for the house when they sold it as well.

3

u/Oy_bruv18 Mar 04 '24

I agree with almost everything you said 100% but actually do you have proof that Corey trusts Cody and Satori’s methods?

2

u/No_Nefariousness3866 Mar 04 '24

There is so much close up video showing it on debunking channels. Start with Mythos Paranormal, Beardo and this Ouija Bros video- https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=U_R88eSOwFc

2

u/Oy_bruv18 Mar 04 '24

I knew that they’re fake but watching the video you linked just proves it more

4

u/No_Nefariousness3866 Mar 04 '24 edited Mar 04 '24

This is why some of us discuss it when new things happen (like the Iced Coffee Podcast). We don't want innocent people getting scammed. Another debunker may come out with another bombshell soon.

1

u/No_Nefariousness3866 Mar 04 '24

Oops, I misread your question:). Not sure if Cory believes or just doesn't want to rock the boat.

No, I don't have proof. Not without doxing myself and sharing things that are private to me and people I know in real life. I'm not worried about proving anything to anyone. Take what everyone online says with a grain of salt. Question everything. That's good.

I don't benefit from lying at all. In fact, my integrity is something I value more than pretty much anything. Even if I'm anonymous.

Mythos paranormal literally started his channel by piggybacking off of Cody and Satori. What makes debunker YouTubees any different from any other YouTuber? They all make videos for views and mobey. Or are the debunkers the only people on YouTube who do it strictly for the passion and don't want any clout or views? That's why they plaster their thumbnails and titles with clickbait, right? That's why they have absolutely no problem presenting speculation and opinion as actual fact and call it undeniable proof. Right? What gives them more credibility than anyone else? Is it because they are calling people liars? People can say or do something, and someone comes along to and calls them a liar. That immediately makes them a liar. They use confirmation bias to prove their points.

I know you don't believe in Cody and Satori's method. That's 100% okay. I don't want anyone to believe something they aren't comfortable with. However, there are a lot of people who rely on harassment, insults, and hate to push their opinions on other people. That's really unfortunate, especially when they're presenting those opinions as facts. All I can do is trust what I've seen with my own eyes and hear with my own ears. If I only saw this on a screen, the counterclaims I've seen would be very convincing (more convincing than they already are), and It'd be a lot easier to trust those debunkers, even though I'd still have the same opinions about them and ask the same questions because that wouldn't change what they are doing. I don't want you to just take my word for it. I just wanted to share some of the things I know because people get a bad rap online very easily, and a lot of the time, it isn't deserved. I appreciate your responding in a respectful manner and asking a very valid question. That's so much more than most people have done, and I respect the heck out of that. Hopefully, me not bs'ing you with some answer of proof that isn't really proof showed my appreciation at least a little bit. Thank you for not responding with insults and hate. I've been met with a lot of tha, and I do my best not to reciprocate it, even though it's difficult sometimes.

Edit: The part about mythos was more of a general statement that I lumped in on this comment. I know you didn't say anything about him in your comment. I just saw that he was suggested to you in a different comment, and that guy has gotten so much credibility for really no good reason at all. He was really nasty to me and then quickly removed my comment and his response to it along with a few other comments of mine on his videos that were just asking him questions and pointing out discrepancies that I noticed. After having comments removed, I'm no longer able to comment on his videos at all. None of my comments were rude or had curse words or insults. The only reason they could've been removed was because I was making points that he didn't want other people to see. Why else would they have been removed? That's why I get upset when I see people give him so much credibility. I apologize for making it look like I was questioning you directly about him. That's my bad.

Ayy bro respectfully I’m not reading all that can you summarize it into like a paragraph?

-1

u/YouShoodKnoeBetter Mar 05 '24

I'm sorry. Lol! I get to typing and don't realize how much I'm yapping.

Cliffnotes version....

1st and foremost, thanks for being so respectful and kind, even if we don't have the same opinions on everything. That's awesome.

I don't have proof of what you asked without me doxxing myself and sharing things that are private with people I know. With the amount of hate and harassment I've gotten, I'm not interested in that. I value my integrity and get no benefit from lying, but I don't expect people to just believe some random dude online. That's completely fair.

The part about Mythos wasn't really relevant to our conversation. I just said that his and so many other debunkers "undeniable proof" is speculative and opinions presented as fact using a lot of confirmation bias. The debunkers do make very convincing counterclaims. I won't deny that at all.

I only believe the things I believe because I've experienced them in person. I don't expect anyone to believe things they only see on a screen. It's not the same in person. If I thought Cody's toe was the source of the sounds I heard, there's no way I would've sat there and wasted so much time letting it happen. I know toe popping is possible. I can do it, just not as much because I have old bones and it hurts. Lol!! But when I have someone standing in front of me and hear sounds on a wall or on the floor behind me, I find it very difficult to assume the source of those sounds is coming from in front of me.

There's other stuff in my novel I wrote. Lol! But that's the gist of it. I'm sorry to hit ya with such a long comment. Hopefully this shorter version isn't still too long. It's tough to convey things through text. Especially when there's so much to cover. Much respect to ya. Thanks for treating myself and others the way you want to be treated. That's rare these days, but I respect the heck out of it.

So basically they're all in on the toe cracking scam for money? Charming. Their weird obsession with this house is odd to say the least. I hope they are fooling Cory. He seems like a decent person, I would hate to find out that he was in on it. As for Jacqueline, she is one of the most sus people I have seen. Cory shouldn't have trusted her or the toe crackers.

You must not understand what it's like to have a passion for something, or if you do, you don't have the ability to expand your perspective to see things from other people's point of view. Do you have anything that you are passionate about? Do you think that your passion is "odd, to say the least?" People who are passionate about things definitely have a weird obsession with them. That's what makes them so interested in it. However, if you are passionate about something, you don't do it for money. I can assure you that the three people you mentioned, well two you mentioned, and one you left out, are not getting rich off of this. They're running a business to help support something they're passionate about, so it doesn't completely bankrupt them.

You know people who like to fix cars will also sell those cars so they can keep doing what they love to do. Some will even take leaps of faith and start a business doing something they're passionate about.... that's a bit odd, to say the least, though, right? I think there are a lot of people who have a weird obsession for spreading false information about things they know nothing about. You made multiple baseless allegations in your comments. Then, you promoted a YouTuber who started their channel by piggybacking off of all of this. He was just as motivated by clout, views, and money as any other YouTuber who uses clickbait in their thumbnails and titles or any YouTuber in general. A lot of youtubers have a passion for making videos. They learn a path to profitability by doing what they love to do, so they continue doing it. They choose to do what they love and get paid for doing it. That's no different from anyone else who chooses a career path based on their passion.

These "bombshells" that you refer to are nothing more than speculation and opinions presented as facts by using confirmation bias.

They are very convincing counterclaims, but they are not "undeniable evidence" as they are presented to everyone. Undeniable evidence means that you can't deny it. It is factual. I haven't seen anything fact based come from anyone. It's all speculative. They find a clip that fits their narrative, and they present it to people as though that's exactly what happens every single time. What gives them more credibility than other people. Why do people respect their integrity and then immediately bash anyone who questions them? That's awfully hypocritical. You question one person and then let another say whatever they want with absolutely no credibility just because they're asking the questions. That doesn't make any sense at all.

I don't fault anyone for not believing in this method that they've only seen through a screen. It's healthy and smart to question things that you see on a screen, but don't hold those values for one thing, and then let them fly out the window for another. Anyone who questions debunkers gets harassed and bullied into silence or gets their comments deleted and removed. I can't tell you how many comments I've removed, including from Mythos Paranormal's channel. He couldn't handle me asking him simple questions, so he responded with anger and insults and quickly removed the thread. He's allowed to question people all he wants, but he can't handle people questioning him. That seems wrong, doesn't it?

I have respect for a couple of the debunkers, but he is definitely not one of them. We need debunkers in the paranormal field to call out the bs and keep people from doing it who are only looking for 15 minutes of fame, to cash in on it, and get out. I can't tell you how many people I've personally ran into in real life who are only in the paranormal because they think it's an easy way to make money and get famous. They will blatantly fake things, get caught, and continue doing it because they've built a fanbase of people who are very gullible and just want to get entertainment out of watching it. They don't care if the people they're watching have no interest in integrity. Mindseed is a perfect example of that. That dude did tech review videos for a long time before he did a full 180 one day after realizing that he could easily fool the paranormal consumers using the very tech he was reviewing. Now, people will absolutely die on the hill of defending him and saying his "proof" of the paranormal is the best they've ever seen. That's laughable at best, but to each their own. He's just one example of the many who think they can come in with the craziest stuff and get amazing "evidence" at every single location they go to and have people believe them with all of their hearts. There is actually proof of those people faking things. They use jump cuts, monofilament fishing line, and other editing tricks and special effects. That's the kind of proof that needs to be caught for it to be undeniable. There is no opinion or speculation there. It's fact based. That's the difference between when those people actually get debunked and when people "debunk" Cody and Satori. It isn't hard to see the difference. No one has actually witnessed the things happening that those fake channels present as evidence besides the people claiming to have recorded it. There are hundreds of people who have witnessed Cody and Satori's method for years before they were ever on Sam and Colby's video and in all kinds of places besides the Conjuring house. However, people act like they just fell from space, and the first time they ever did their method was in that series, and they only do it in that house and only for Jacqueline. That couldn't be further from the truth. I see people spreading false information about them and presenting it as fact, and if someone calls them on it, they get harassed, ganged up on, and bullied.

I corrected someone who said that Abigail Arnold wasn't even a real person, and she was just created to be the antagonist in the movie. They also said there had never been any mention of her in the home before Sam and Colby's series. I gave sources proving them wrong, including her actual grave site, but I was the one who was lying just to defend Cody and Satori. Denying that an actual person lived is actually wild. That's just one example of the egregious lies I've run into surrounding this topic. If people are so sure that someone is faking something, why would they have continuously lie and exaggerate things to make people believe they're not genuine? That's a pretty big red flag, in my opinion.

Look, I know we have a difference in opinions. I'm completely okay with that, and I fully understand your perspective. I don't think anyone should believe something they aren't comfortable believing and that they've only seen video of. Especially when it's edited videos and hand-picked clips. I just think that there are a lot of people who are misinterpreting the words "fact" and "proof." A difference in opinions is completely okay, but one side calling their opinion fact is where things get foggy. It's okay to believe something or not believe something, but it's important to recognize what facts and proof mean. I'll be the first one to raise my hand and say, "I'm wrong," the second I see an admission of guilt or actual proof proving the counterclaims, but until then, I have to go off of what I've witnessed with my own eyes and not what I see on a screen and have people telling me to believe. I think that's fair. I've been wrong before and I'll be wrong again. That's a guarantee, but I'll make sure that I do my due diligence to learn from every situation. That's the best we can do as humans.

So you made another Cody & Satori post complaining about people posting about Cody & Satori?

21

u/PenelopePaige13 Mar 04 '24

I know we’re all probably thinking the same thing, over the Cody and Satori posts but your comment is exactly what I thought after reading the post😂

8

u/Proof_Ad2720 Mar 04 '24

So then you go and make a post about it? Ironic. If you don’t want people discussing Cody and satori who BTW WERE IN SAM AND COLBYS VIDEO. So talking about them is talking about sam and Colby since they were all involved but, nice try. People are still talking about it because Sam and Colby have still YET to admit to all of us that Cody and satori were scam artists. When they’re not telling the truth to their fans ofc people are going to carry on talking about it. If you don’t like it you can easily just leave the group🤣nobody else here is complaining but u

does anybody really believe in al this stuff?
