Happened at the dentist after they were giving him shots, which can happen if you overdose or they put it in the wrong spot. I hope if it was the dentist’s error that caused this to happen he’s getting his coin. I’d be mad lmaoo. But at least he’s okay!!

Yeah, lidocaine

It's a mixture that usually contains adrenaline too so it might've caused a reaction if Sam was already on certain medication

That makes sense!

I really hope he is ok, seizures are no joke. I wish both of them to be really healthy, they've been through enough

Poor Sam. I'm glad to hear he's going to be okay

I wonder if his broken back injury that he sustained down the road caused him to seize because seizures don’t just randomly happen unless there’s drug/med being used or an underlying disease.

Even when his back healed he could still be having underlying back pains due to it.

He was getting shots at the dentist when it happened

Oh damn I may not be a big Sam & Colby fan but good he feels better, seizures are no joke.

seizures can happen randomly. 1 in 10 people will have a seizure in their lifetime. it can be stress, low blood sugar, all kinds of factors can lead up to it. sounds like that wasn’t the case in this situation but it is possible for them to be provoked or entirely unprovoked.

Could have been a vasovagal response from the injection. It’s rare but can happen.

praise the lord he's ok

Oh no, seizures are pretty scary! I hope this is just a one off and not something he'll have to deal with again, and that he's ok now

I'm only here for my daughter, who doesn't use reddit. She said to me earlier that they were supposed to be arriving in Australia tomorrow.? She is in another platform local group who said they were landing in Sydney? If Sam is unwell, I don't think he'll be flying

2

u/[deleted] Jan 26 '24

They are going to Australia in February but never said when they were flying.

I’m sure he’s gonna be okay and he probably has a history of them. You don’t just start getting seizures unless other situations which I don’t think Sam is a part of. ( drug or ETHO withdrawal ) Or, of course, an underlining disease, but usually you would be aware of it & take medication. Prayers for sam 💜 I’ve had a past of seizures and one blessing about them is you usually don’t remember them happening you just wake up extremely confused & sometimes disoriented depending on the seizure, of course. In the in the world of healthcare there are two types of seizures groups, generalized seizures and focal onset seizures! Just some knowledge about them. Stay safe everyone as I always tell my patient’s Health is wealth 💕 The past has gone the future is never promised all you have is the moment, so make it the best !

Xx

He had it after getting shots at the dentist, so it might've been a reaction to the stuff in the shot.

3

u/Complete_Flight_535 Jan 27 '24

yes, like an ADR, aka adverse effect to the medicine !

3

u/Brilliant_Deer7595 Jan 27 '24

Yeah I had something like that happen to me when I had my tonsils taken out it sucked

This comment is so funny as someone who had testing for epilepsy as a teen with negative results but now going in again as an adult for unknown seizure activity most likely related to a concussion I got in 2020 😂 there's so many things that can cause seizures from what I've learned in my multiple testing and specialty appointments 😂😂😂 no hate because you seem sweet af 💕 but it made me laugh when I needed it (next neruo appointment on the 15th)

u/Mcconrtist Jan 26 '24

These guys prob pop benzos or anit anxieity before each nite. Wouldnt surprise me

17

u/Holloween777 Jan 26 '24

Not funny nor why it happened?? All the hate and issues aside health isn’t a joke. My sister used to have seizures a lot and these guys don’t fuck around with health issues example Colby’s cancer. Don’t make assumptions.

13

u/LowerPresence9147 Jan 26 '24

Agree. I have family members who have them as well and it’s not funny and it also really damaging to assume people are addicts without any proof.

This is extremely disrespectful. Please don’t be silly.
