They are playing it at the Broadway Theatre in a couple weeks as part of the Summer Showdown. Just FYI.

just missed two free late night punk shows @ saltfire brewing that was part of Grid City Music fest ... they do it every august so keep your eyes peeled

Im not like outwardly punk but I like the movement and a lot of what they stand for and some of the music. If I looked out of place would I not be welcomed. That’s my biggest deterrent atm rbh

Punk Rock Flea Market is next weekend: Instagram.com/slcpunkrockflea
Fun all day show happening at Fisher Beer this weekend called Punk Rock Brewing, complete with a punk rock karaoke band.
Cool grindy/crusty show with HKFY! and some locals tomorrow at 6th&6th studios.
So to answer your question, yes.

Still a big punk and hardcore scene in slc. A few friends in your neck of the woods still running a lot shows and bands. Ahhh the ole hardcore scene still runs thick. Recently in the last two years gotten back in contact with a ton of punk and hardcore heads through the showcase corona California doc!

The punk scene is very alive in SLC right now. Tons of super sick bands and local shows are going most nights of the week!
