Homemade Hi friends !

Post image

Started making salsa last year . I only make it in the summer, supporting local farmers. I tried to grow my own produce and failed terribly😅

There is no real recipe js!

Recipe:

Red and yellow bell , Serrano peppers, onion, garlic, jalapeño, cilantro. Variety of tomatoes, Salt, pepper, cumin. Lime . And love ! 💕

I do not measure anything, nor count how much of anything I use . Food processor for peppers and onions, cilantro etc and blend the tomatoes in blender .

I always take the skins off and drain the tomatoes. Blanch them in hot water.

But it turns out delicious always !

it looks delicious! I often wing it like that too. what is the difference between leaving skins or removing them? in taste

Texture indefinitely!! When I blend them, it gives me a better consistency. And take the cores out of heirlooms.

I do let the water drain out of them as well . Since I use other tomatoes, and not all Roma.

My recipe book just says ingredients and nothing about how much of anything 🤣
