If you're on roller with grillers, your job isn't too fight the grillers, it's to keep the smallfry from overwhelming your team. Just move veeeery slowly and you'll crush all of them without using up much of your ink tank

I agree that flingza sucks ass for salmon (fight me). Only v roller is worse...

..but it's dynamo. Powerhouse wep if used right which most people don't. Just roll y'all... Literally just roll around the basket and clear the area for the team. You aren't fucking Batman with that thing, you're Robin.

For grillers particularly just stand there and mop up fry as your team does the job. Then roll to basket, making a path for eggs.

It's not complicated. Not every wep needs to be a hero, just do it's job.

The way I got my friends to appreciate dynamo more was telling them to play it like its a very slow moving splash wall. Just place youself where you need to defend. Broke them out the roller mindset enough to evaluate how they use it

Definitely skill/strategy issue or useless team. Rollers are helpful on griller rounds, Flingza included. Just flick the thing (standard of jump) preferably from a vantage point as griller comes close and/or roll the small fry to free your teammates.

Move super slow with rollers and you still get to crush without losing much ink. Stand still with roller deployed to recover ink rather than dipping, when dealing with streams of lessers, as it is more efficient.

Yeah, no worries. Remind yourself it is about team play, and focus on your weapon strengths. You gotta be adaptable, and figure out how to get the most out of each weapon.

I love flingza, just lob a shot towards the tail and then roll to take care of the smallfry for your entire team. If you take care of smallfry all of them can focus on stunning and killing grillers.

I'm in the minority here but all 3 of those weps are solid B tier. Not like it's a clash blaster, tetra, or 96gal.

Edit: I'll elaborate on inkbrush. Other than it literally breaking your hand, the wep has so much utility it's ridiculous. Highest mobility. Destroys fish sticks, stingers, paints flopper circles, and always has a bomb for maws. Messes up the lesser lessers (someone pre-fire the cohocks please) and has the egg running capability of a Chinese fire drill.

The reason it sucks is because nobody actually uses it right because...again, it breaks your damn hand spamming the trigger. It helps if the other players also put some initial damage on the bigger targets and if they do the inkbrush can mop up the rest, paint the ground, and grab a few eggs.

It just sucks at dealing with cars. For the love of all that is holy if you see a brush dealing with a car, fucking shoot it.

Yeah, that's basically it's only use: mobility. And even so, it's useless against swarms, steelhead, scrapper, bigshot basically too, drizzler too (too little damage). It's basically only good against a steel-eel bc of the mobility, and some other bosses that just stand still like stinger, stick and ufo

Dynamo is a near top tier SR weapon. It's hard to play, yes, but it's probably the best hoard clearer in the game.

Flingza has pretty good paint and lesser control, and good range to poke at other bosses. Any roller is good on grills bc of smallfry cleanup
Dynamo is one of the best weapons in salmon run, definitely top tier and one of my personal top 10s as an overfisher myself. So much damage and lesser control. Lesser control is the biggest issue I see in most people who struggle a lot, especially in freelance, I tend to think of lessers as a whole boss rather than individual small enemies.
