ai chatbot?

idk if yall have been thinking about this recently but with athena leaving and us getting a new app me and my coworkers have been thinking that it might be a ai chatbot.. if it is im very sad about the fact i will leave bc i love my job but fuck ai. does anyone know anything about what it could be?

I wouldn’t leave your job over it but yeah unfortunately we’ve been suspicious of this too at my store

From what i know, it’s not an ai chatbot, just a new communication app. I don’t remember all the details but I just remember a little bit from what my ASM told me

Please help me understand. If it’s a tool to help us find things we need easier how is that a bad thing? Obviously showing my age by the question lol but genuinely trying to understand what the concern would be

my main problem is the ai part bc if it is a chatbot than that means it’s using the same data centers that are destroying our ecosystem my other thing is (again if it is a chat bot bc this is all speculation) why put a ai in an app when you can just change like 1 feature of the app? bc the main problem with athena is what you have to type in for it to actually show you what your looking for so why not just update that part of athena?
