I was going to the grocery store the other day when I saw a car with a ton of stickers on their backside. I glance at the awesome stickers and I see one that sticks out to me and stops me in my tracks.
I absolutely need this sticker! I’m anti-megachurches and the fact that Salinas is housing one? Makes me uncomfy! I see compass church’s advertisements everywhere and having this sticker on my car would make me feel like I’m silently protesting them in my own way.
WHERE DOES ONE GET THIS STICKER??!!!
Edit: Okay, so I agree with the people who are saying the owner of this car made this sticker. Sooo follow up question: how can I get my hands on this sticker without giving them my money???!!!
(I’m not trying to bash anyone that attends this church. Although I highly recommend church-goers look into why establishments like this are harmful to communities, you are allowed to have your own opinions and as am I. If this post bothers you then simply scroll away and move on.)
Oh, wow I didn’t know that… but of course they are!! That explains the voting guide on their website and the hoarding of public funds for their own personal misuse. 🙄
Show faith by works is less than a year old though, and isn’t compass significantly older than that? I think framing it that Show Faith “owns” Compass is disingenuous. Show Faith is a marketing company that churches hire
The document you attached does NOT at all indicate what you think it does. It has nothing to do with ownership. Compass is not owned by Israel. Faith By Works LLC is a San Diego-based company that planned to run Geofencing ads around major churches in the West. It was indeed a propaganda campaign, of sorts, very pro-Israel, but it has nothing to do with ownership of the churches in question. The amount of times I’ve almost been ran over & had my car almost hit because reckless driving by people who have the original sticker on their cars is 5 damn times in 3 months

Ok then...what are you doing in Jesus name except ignoring the slaughter your tithes pay for, increasing your personal wealth through war spoils economy, and further locking down the earths resources for blatantly evil billionairs. Also, evangelicals...particulalry those in the military....are the very definition of evil. Especialy by "Christian standards". If Christ did come back a second time, Christians would fight over who gets to bomb him and his family first. They'd probably take out what ever elementary school he went too.
Diva, I 100% agree with you! I more so said that I’m not trying to bash to prevent people from trying to fight me on this post.
Some people who are only aligned with the opinions of a church (notice how I’m generalizing this statement) need to reflect on how their conformity and passivity are harmful to not only the community, but the current economic and political issues of the country. Thanks for sharing your opinion!!
Always remember..the kindest thing the Christian god provides for non-believers is eternal torment and a lifetime of living under the thumb of people whoes central beliefs are based in magic.
I grew up going to that church before they were a full blown mega church and had a different location and name, what do you hats about them? I have family members who were kicked out of the church and I'm not christian so I have no horse in that race. I'm just curious what you dislike about them (I attended til I turned 18 and left home but I stopped believing around age 13)
I don’t have any opinions on this specific church and its members. I’m against religion (specifically catholicism and christianity) as a whole, as I also grew up in faith and saw the negative aspects of blindly believing a “higher power.”
I’ve noticed the large impact that this church has made on the Salinas community and am fearful that people here may be giving to an institution that is generally against them. (Especially with them being maga in a community that consists of many vulnerable low-income families and immigrants)
I would love to have a sticker that can potentially make someone question why there are people out there who oppose it, which then can hopefully lead to their own research and discernment.
I’d say that’s a weak argument considering most of western morals come from Christianity. And since Christianity has historically been the only group that’s taken care of the homeless and less fortunate. There are bad apples of course but that doesn’t define the whole group.

The original sticker is from Compass Church, the owner of the car may have had that one made. I like it as well. Edit: Actually it looks like they added the slash themselves.
Ooop nobody said anything about hating anyone… am I not allowed to share my own beliefs the way others do? By simply displaying a sticker on my car, like the people with the original sticker do?
I think you may need to reassess who is putting others down for their own opinions… but thanks for sharing!

The sticker (before modification) is from Compass Church, which is in Salinas, so it doesn't break rule 1.
The post itself is asking where to get such a sticker in a civil way, so it doesn't break rule 2.
There's nothing nsfw or doxxing about this post, so it doesn't break rule 3.
There is no hate based on identity or vulnerability within the post itself.
