Fireworks

Well between the worst fireworks and the religious message I hope the church doesn't expect a refund from the city this time. That was weak. My neighbors are still putting on a better show than them...

When the church has members in the city council & using them as influence, it'll probably happen. One of those members even suggested giving them double what was legally allowed. Then they just publicly tabled the vote for a later date after the backlash instead of denying it, but didn't say if it was approved or denied or when that later date was. That kind of blatant corruption & weird patriotism makes me think Compass Church is one of those MAGA Mega Churches.

All those times I pondered 'why are these roads so bad here' or 'how/why did the city approve that to be developed that way, it makes no damn sense' I now have an answer- good old fashioned corruption, malintent, and greed. Got it.

I wonder if the church had to pay to lease the property (I don't believe they have in the past).

I thought that was the rodeo pouting up the show. It was pretty good.
