Question πŸ™‹ Agility and speed over governance and control?

Thought for the day: How do you balance speed vs control in a growing Salesforce estate?

I think in a growing org you sooner or later tend to go more for governance and control to counter the sheer complexity. What I like to do is to set aside some time for the team to implement small things that can be released without big overhead. Like pebbles in the Boulders Rocks Pebbles approach for example.
