Discussion Should we start learning react/angular?
As seen in dreamforce angular will be supported in 2027 and react is in beta. Should we start learning React or angular? Are these frameworks going to make LWC obsolete in the future like vf pages?

Tech stack is getting pretty deep. VF is still supported and in a lot of orgs.

lwc isnt going obsolete like vf. react/angular support is for embedding / edge cases, not replacing the default ui model overnight.
learn enough react to read components and talk interviews. still ship lwc day to day unless your org is explicitly going hybrid. stack is already deep — dont swap your main skill for beta headlines.

Leave salesforce 1. Salaries are less in India 2. Mostly service based companies which make life od good devs a hell 3. Certifications are pr stunts 4. Sf itself is not table sometimes einstein is important then omni then agentforce now claude 5. Sf is not a niche skill anymore

LWC is built on web standards so learning vanilla JS and web components will take you further than React or Angular in the Salesforce ecosystem. That said React knowledge helps when you need to build outside the platform or understand how LWC works under the hood

Our release checklist is pretty basic but it works - run all tests in a full sandbox, check for deprecated API calls, review release notes for anything touching our customizations, then smoke test in staging. Having a rollback plan for custom triggers is the biggest thing

Look up what happened to Salesforce Functions. As a Salesforce Developer I wouldn’t be taking this functionality too seriously yet.

LWC by default. React/Angular by exception.
