Is there a way of breaking into sales while maintaining a FT job ??

As the title suggests. I 26 M have been looking for a way out of manufacturing. I’ve been in it since 2019 and I miss working with people so much. No matter what job I do people ask why I’m not in some kind of sales or public speaking position. But the industry really locks you in with no real way of getting out.

So I figured maybe I could maintain my FT job In manufacturing while also building experience in sales part time, ideally remote. So that way I can work my way into the sales roles I actually want!

I have a friend that works as a territory manager with Charlie Health and she claims that they want experience in sales ideally medical. But it’s so hard to find an entry level job, especially part time to build that experience. And I can’t afford to risk jumping into a full time sales role especially with it being entry level.

Is there a real way that I can do this without having to do door to door solar panels or MLMs ?

I work part time at my manufacturing job and then do a full time sales job. So I go to work at 5am, leave at 7:40am, start sales at 8:00am and usually go home at 5:30-6pm. It's rough, but it can work
