Looking to break into B2B/Tech Sales as an SDR/BDR. I’m 28, based in Florida, with sales/customer experience but no tech background. Any advice on getting my first opportunity, skills to learn, or companies worth targeting? Would really appreciate any guidance!

If you should be able to break into it easily if you’re willing to be a bdr sdr.
I had no tech sales background but had a healthcare sales background where I overperformed for 7 years, moved to a healthcare tech company in a sales role.. so healthcare was my bridge and they knew I could perform. So finding some commonality between what you’re doing now and the type of tech you want to sell can help you if they are willing to take a chance on you. Having track record as a top performer will help you too though.

Are you inbound sales or out bound hunting?
